Review-
WHOAH! The first few pages of book one in this five part series will captivate you. I have never read a book that begins as Unblocked does and I was on the edge of my seat after the first paragraph.
From go we meet Frankie. A powerful and much sought after Real Estate agent whom happens to be the daughter of one of the oldest and most highly regarded Real Estate agencies in Boston. She has learned the business by starting from scrubbing toilets at the company and working her way up. There was no instant meal ticket and that is the way Frankie wanted it. Now she is a business woman with a plan and a force in the real estate world. Even her failed relationship with another well known in the business did not make her fold when it easily could have.
Frankie is on the verge of inheriting her fathers entire company. He is waited for this day and has trained Frankie well. Her proof that she IS ready to head up the company will be for her to land a deal becoming the exclusive agent to a new development which has more units then she has ever handled. To land this would accomplish everything but most importantly her father's approval and the opportunity to work with the esteemed Derek Block. With the stress, the dreams though are back, tormenting her at night. This is the LAST thing Frankie needs and at the worst time possible.
Derek Block is a man who does not fit the usual mold. He is scruffy, wears plaid shirts and rocks it. He is demanding and expects the most out those around him not mixing business with pleasure. The talent he has with architecture is uncanny. He uses the earth to create sensuality in his designs. Derek has three interviews set up but from her resume and background check he knows he only wants the best and that’s Frankie.
Neither character is prepared for the hurricane force that hits them head on. Derek never mixes business with pleasure but all he can think about is that sassy and confident woman that just left his office and all Frankie can do is try her best to control her dreams.
This is a fantastic opening that sets the stage to be a brilliant series. Click it up friends!
