Amy's 4 star ARC Review of Lucky (No Prisoners MC #4) by Lilly Atlas

After six months caring for her terminally ill mother, Kori is shocked to learn the identity of her father. Armed with the name of a man she’s never met, Kori sets off across the country to meet the person responsible for half of her DNA: the President of the No Prisoners Las Vegas motorcycle club.

Raised as the stepdaughter of an MC member, Kori has one rule when it comes to dating: no bikers. Following that rule becomes a challenge, however, when she meets Lucky, a member of her father’s club.

Lucky’s perspective on the dating world is don’t do it. He has a revolving door to his bedroom and no interest in a relationship. But what starts as harmless flirting quickly escalates until he can’t get Kori out of his mind.

For a time, the relationship seems perfect, but Lucky is struggling with a secret that could destroy the club. How can he move against club leadership knowing that Kori will be caught in the crossfire?

Lucky and Kori -- Lucky was brought to us after patching over from another chapter in a previous release. These books are all standalone and can be read not as a series. If you want the entire story though learning about all the characters is key. Lucky arrived with some past and some things he was keeping to himself. We may find out what those are in this book. Can't tell you --

Kori lost her job and all she had when caring for her terminally ill mother. On her death bed her mother tells her daughter there is a box that she must see. The box holds the past -- the link to her father. Although Kori knew some about her father she did not know everything that he was about. Finding Lucky was not part of the deal nor was betrayal.

Good story line -- I was more torn with Lucky that anything else. Kori was a strong female lead but he was the star of the show. Mystery -- betrayal -- love -- it's all here. Click this one up for read number four from the No Prisoners MC.

Series reading order is:
Shamed
Scorned
Scarred
Schooled

This book contains some possible triggers -- be warned.
This time it's Waylon and Jessica's story.
Twin brothers raised by an evil woman -- bad bad bad -- I'm taking the childhood from hell and back again -- a one way ticket. that had a childhood from hell. (Your triggers --abuse).

Falling in love with Jessica was not expected. He could never expose her to the evil that his family held and put upon others. He was not the one for her. Bringing her around his mother would never happen therefore he was not the man for her or the man that she needed in her life. Needless to say Jessica is pulled in regardless of his trying to protect her.

Kidnapped by the woman that the love of her life had tried to protect her from -- he left her and now his mother had her. Two years she has suffered and waited for her man to come and rescue all while tormenting herself -- knowing that if he came she would kill him. Will he find her and when he does then what? Is there a future with man whose mother has caused her so much pain.

This is a whole lot of holy smokes --- this is not a easy go lucky read. So make sure you click this one up when you are ready for an intense mind bending and heart stopping read. Thank you for the ARC -

Amy's 3.5 star ARC Review of Tied (Voyeur Series #2) by Elena M Reyes and N Isabelle Blanco

That bloody bitch thinks she’s the biggest villain here . . .

And I’m going to let her keep thinking that.

She thinks she knows how far I’ll go to save Ivy.

In reality, she has no fucking clue. I’d kill for her.

My humanity recedes while a demon is born. I want their blood on my hands.
The stakes are beyond high, trapped in this sex dungeon with no way out. Our loved ones are being threatened while we’re being forced to endure.

But none of that matters to me as much as the endgame.

I’ll be leaving here once I take the two things that matter most:

I’ll be claiming my woman.

And once I find our way out, I’ll be taking our captor’s life too.

She thought she could threaten my girl.

I’m about to show her just how wrong she is.

This is the second book in this series. The first one was rough and this one is even worse. HOLY BALLS. There are so many triggers in this book and series so please be warned. There is no way to by pass them so if you have those please don't click.

Ivy and Noah are still trapped and forced to follow exactly what they are told to do. If you read book one you know the ending was mind bending and you had no idea what was on the horizon. I was seriously scared to continue.

We do get a deeper look into the friendship of Ivy and Noah. I really loved seeing that. I was wondering about them in the first book and how their relationship transpired. You talk about the calm before the hurricane infused with a tornado full of sharks and whatever else you can throw in there. HOLY SHIT.

I'm not going to go into detail because I can't. There is nothing that I can write further that could be posted. If you like depths of the deep abyss dark then this is your series. There is one more and I'm terrified.

Amy's 3.5 star ARC Review of Snatch (Cerberus MC #5) by Marie James

I’ve been Jaxon Donovan since the day I was born, obviously. My road name, Snatch, came years later due to my ability to literally snatch up any woman I set my sights on. I’ve always been a connoisseur of the opposite sex. Tall, short, thin, thick and juicy, my tastes knew no limitations.

I didn’t think there was a limitation to my sexuality, and I found out just how true that actually was the night my best friend took it upon himself to take me in his mouth. Sure, there’d been close calls before, the slip of a hand or misplaced lips. With our propensity to share women, it’s bound to happen. That fateful night, I was met with pure intention and an experience I never want to forget.

How do you explain to your friends, your brother’s in arms, that your extremely active sexuality has led you to your best friend’s doorstep? How do you admit, after twenty-six years of heterosexuality, that you’re into something else?

I’ll soon find out that what happens in the dark will always come to light.

Itchy and Snatch ... sharing women and now sharing each other. This is not why the book wasn't my favorite .. it was because of the storyline. I wasn't overloaded with emotions which I have been in the previous reads.

Snatch has a hard time understanding what he is feeling. Knowing he has crossed a line with his best friend might not sit well with the brothers. Sharing women is one thing but knowing you want the man more than the woman is another entirely different explanation.

These two characters are really good guys. Love the MC and the addition of this story but it wasn't my favorite. Thank you for the ARC and chance to read.

Amy's 5 star ARC Review of Savage (The Kingwood Duet Book 1) by S. L. Scott

Early praise from readers, bloggers, and authors call this book "The Best Book of 2017!" and a "Must Read Summer Sensation."

Welcome to the mysterious world of the rich and the damned in this gritty, modern day fairy tale. Two star-crossed lovers will either find their destiny or meet their fate in a world where demons come in the form of familiar faces and pawns aren’t just players, but deadly.

She was my destiny.

I was her downfall.

We were a match made in hell.

But when we were together, that hell was pure heaven.

The moment I laid eyes on her, I knew she would pay the price for my sins. I wasn’t much older than she was, but old enough to know better. Old enough to know she would be good for me and I was bad for her. But I pursued her anyway. Back then I had hope that maybe she could change my future.

Maybe together we could change our fate . .

This is the first read by this author and it's fantastic. The blend of mystery, love, suspense, and page turning got to know is incredible. Alexander Kingwood and Sara Jane Grayson. What a beautiful mess.

On the day of his mother's funeral Alexander sees the girl who will change his life. Who will bring light back into the dark that he just experienced. She is stunning -- standing in the rain with no idea how she affects the world around her. Three years later Sara and Alexander are fighting questions. Sara has given her entire self to Alexander and it's time he does the same. She needs answers. Where does he go late at night and why won't he open up to her?

The love between these two is unbreakable it's seems until the walls start to crumble. This story I will tell you ends in a cliffhanger. There is a character -- Alexander's father in particular that I got chills every time he came into the story. I also loved the secondary characters. Shelly is Sara Janes best friend, there is Cruise and Chad --

There is a chilling moment at a party that just had me reeling. I couldn't turn the pages fast enough. This isn't a thriller as in what you would think but your entire self will be on edge and your heart will be racing.

Don't miss this release! The cover is spot on. I'm honored to have been offered the chance to read this ARC -- thank you so much but August needs to come on. I'm not patient and this is a book that you are going to want to read the next immediately. Go click ....

Amy's 4 star ARC Review of Black (A Bloodlines Novel) by K. L. Grayson

Family.
Everyone has one.
Some are close.
Some are dysfunctional.
Some are simply gone.

Nine-year-old Shae Black entered the Witness Protection Program after the murder of her father, mob boss Luca DiMarco. New name. New identity. And a ready-made family that had no idea who she really was.

Fourteen years later, a letter from a ghost thrusts Shae back into the life she was forced to leave behind. As secrets unravel, revealing unexpected truths, Shae sees an opportunity to avenge her father’s death by destroying patriarch Sal Ambrosi, the man responsible for her father’s murder. Getting to the heart of the family will be difficult, but nothing and no one is going to stop her—not even the heirs to the Ambrosi family empire.

She’s prepared for the two brothers, Dante and Rex, to put up a fight, but she isn’t at all prepared for the danger they will bring to her life and her heart.

One will love her.
One will hate her.
One will vow to protect her.
One will vow to kill her.

All in the name of family.

Shae Black was only nine when she witnessed her father's murder. All these years later she is out for revenge. She will not stray from the path she is on. The man that is trying to stand on her way won't. Returning to her hometown should give her the answers that she needs. Danger won't stop her -- darkness won't stop her. This stranger that keeps finding his way to her -- he needs to understand she is and will find her answers.

Being and Ambrosi means loyalty and honor. Your life won't be free from skeletons but Rex is trying his best. The family business isn't for him. He needs his own life. Meeting Shae he is more determined than ever to keep his nose and hands clean and show her how sweet life can be.

This wasn't a normal mafia storyline but more of a love story. Shae's character never strayed and held firm to what she wanted and I did love that. Rex was a great leading man. He also knew what he wanted and stood by Shae although the answers were threatening.

Good beach read. Click it up and enjoy. Thank you for the ARC -

Amy's ARC review of Taken (Voyeur Series #1) by Elena M Reyes and N. Isabelle Blanco

I was drugged.
Now, I’ve woken up in a dark, luscious room.
A deviant playground.
I’m not alone.
The person that was drugged and taken with me is here, too.
My confident.
Someone that I had come to see as a brother.
My best friend.
Suddenly, there’s a voice coming through the speakers, telling us we’ve both been chosen to die.
The only way out? Do everything we’re told to do.
This person wants to watch us. They want to be entertained. As she says, “I want to see you come.”
It’s simple: either we sleep together, or die.

WARNING: This story isn't for everyone. Please read with caution. Contains graphic violence and explicit situations some might find disturbing. Read at your own risk.

I seriously don't know how to rate this -- maybe a 3.5
This is due to the content. This storyline is truly somewhat disturbing. Not bad but I think my eyebrows were raised the entire page turning event. Enter with serious caution.

Noah and Ivy are best friends who have been taken from their homes. The drugs pumped into them are giving them hyper-feelings and emotions. The audience is watching. The voice over the speakers in the room are telling them exactly what to do -- if they don't they die.

That is all I can write on this -- There is nothing else I can write and publish on public view. LOL -- I seriously can't even explain --- This is a complete utter mind freak. These two characters become like animals in cages. Holy Smokes.

Amy's 5 star ARC Review of A Dead Man's Pulse by Samantha A Cole

Marine First Sergeant Logan “Cowboy” Reese was rescued hours before he would’ve met the same fate as his five murdered teammates in Afghanistan. Returning to the US and civilian life hadn’t been part of his plans at this stage of his career, but dealing with PTSD forced his hand. However, an unexpected job offer with Trident Security, a private firm in Tampa, has him finding a purpose in life again, but will his flashbacks destroy a promising future altogether?

Officer Dakota Swift has worked hard to prove she belongs on Tampa PD with the big boys and has been trying to get assigned to the Special Operations Division. A local, serial killer, targeting submissives in the BDSM lifestyle, gives her the opportunity to get her feet wet in undercover work. She’s assigned to the joint task force between TPD, the FBI, and Trident Security, but can she survive her attraction to her new partner, Logan?

The operatives of Trident Security have a keen interest of catching the “Kink Killer” as the heads of the company also own a BDSM club, The Covenant. Until his identity is discovered, no woman in the lifestyle community is safe. With the body count rising, will the killer be caught before someone from The Covenant becomes the next victim?

So first and foremost it makes me giddy to see book 1. This means we are on a journey of more to come. Second bringing awareness to PTSD and prisoners of war -- hell yes. Third a new pup named Fubar -- damn right. Brilliant name choice by the way.

The title is a sad yet real description of a man who survived while his brothers didn't. War is a bastard. It's the devil wrapped in a nice bow with a one way ticket to hell (and that's my description from having a husband who served 22 years in SO). Logan Cowboy Reese is a man looking to suppress those demons. A Trident in hand might just help him slay the beast.

Dakota Swift is still trying to prove herself to her co-workers and father. A chance to join the elite forces to catch a killer is the perfect way to do this. Throwing herself undercover is the only way to go to show that she can and will get the sick f**k who is murdering the ladies from the clubs.

Things will explode along the way with many fighting to stay alive. Enjoy the ride, embrace the moments that are reality and turn to page one. We can't say much more because the details are not only alluring but heart pounding to say the least. Nothing needs to be compromised or given away in the review.

Don't miss the original series from Samantha. You don't need to read it to understand what is going on in this release but missing them is like missing cake on your birthday friends! Thank you for the ARC and the chance to read. LOVE THIS ONE.

Amy's 5 star ARC Review of Blue Balls by RC Boldt

BLUE BALLS: When the universe gets in the way of your "follow through"

BLUE BALLS

Truth: A painful condition caused by a prolonged state of sexual arousal without release.
Myth: Only affects males.

SARAH

I’m beyond frustrated with the man who’s left me high and very far from dry. Multiple times. But, somehow, even though I’m not interested in a relationship, Mr. Tall-Dark-and-Handsome keeps me coming back for more—one crazy, sexual debacle after the next.

Come hell or high water, the stars will align, and the release will be out of this world.

JACK
I’m captivated with the woman who’s left me sixty-nine shades of blue, and she's only in this for one thing. The first time, I blew it—and not in the good way—but I’m going to ensure we finally see it through. I need to put an end to this “plague” of sexual calamities and prove to Sarah that we can have more.

It's time to grab the universe by the balls and show it who's boss.

Blue Balls is the extension of Clam Jam. Now no you don't have to read Clam Jam to know what's going on in this book but my recommendation is read Clam first and then move on to this. Why? Because it's that good - you want to laugh and have a constant smile on your face with your family thinking you are nuts with your outburst -- pair these two releases together and you got it.

We meet Jack and Sarah in Clam Jam as supporting characters. They stole the show in that release and didn't disappoint here -- in fact the banter between these two and Sarah with herself inside her secret thoughts --- I can't even explain what will happy to your fun factory.

Jack is persistent, handsome, witty, motivated and the all around catch. The blue balls this woman is giving him is hurting him in more ways than one. But oh Sarah -- there are no happy endings there are just whore endings ... LOL -- I died. Each have the balls of blue for each other but events in their lives have not allowed them to cure that need. Their best friends were in a cheeky situation of their own with one pretending to be gay and the other needing her "Clam Jammed." Oh yes ... go grab it up.

RC never disappoints and leads us down a road of laughter, honestly, and moments that are unforgettable. I absolutely LOVE these characters. Her other books are just as amazing and must reads. Take this one to the beach or the lake and get ready for a brilliant afternoon filled with lots of pleasure. HAHA! Just look at the cover -- does it not make you happy. Bright and beautiful? That's how turning these pages will also make you feel. You will want to get into the circle of friends -- trust me.

Thank you for the ARC as always -- I'm a fan forever with your amazing storylines that will take me away for a bit. Keep them coming!

Amy's 5 star Review of Close The Tab (Devil's Due MC #3) by Chelsea Camaron

However, danger bellies up to her bar.

Will Bladen face his own past to uncover Tamalyn's secrets? When everything crashes around her, will Tamalyn open up to Bladen in time to save her life?

Love, hate, anger, and passion collide as the time comes, and the devil demands his due.

Series reading order:
Serving My Soldier (Bonus Story)
Crossover (Devil's Due MC and Vipers Creed MC Prequel)
In the Red
Below the Line
Close the Tab

Each book in the Devil's Due MC is a stand alone, full length, second chance romance. Contains adult content, language, and violence not suitable for readers under the age of 18. This is not an exact depiction of life in a motorcycle club, but rather a work of fiction meant to entertain. (Paperback page count is 301 in a 5x8 sizing)

Judge and Tamalyn can't be together. Best friends holding it together and stealing kisses in their teens. Their secrets are hard .. Their parents .. Being hurt by them - you might think they could go to the law but the problem is they are the law. Getting Tamalyn to a safe hours is the most important thing. Leaving her behind is just what has to be.

Years later maybe there is another chance but Tamalyn has to open up. Her life may depend on it. Judge will protect her with everything he is but she has to let him. Revenge .. anger ... haunted memories .. the mix may kill them or save them.

This is a fantastic read but be warned this may cause triggers centered in abuse. I love all of these books. Chelsea is a wonderful author and has given us another fantastic series. Thank you for the ARC!
