Amy's 4 star ARC Review of ZACK: Southside Skulls Motorcycle Club (Southside Skulls MC Romance Book 4) by Jessie Cooke

Zack "Attack" Leoni is a wild and free nomad biker who spends most of his time on the road. Each stop there's another woman to satisfy his needs.
He's not one to be tied down to anyone or anything and certainly not a woman with a child.
Nicole Swafford fears for her life as she tries to escape Spider, her violent ex-husband and the father of her child...the same man Zack is meeting for a club business deal.
Will the smiling Zack Attack jeopardize club business for a woman he doesn't know, with a child he doesn't want?
Will Spider let anyone stand in the way of what he wants? His child and Nicole.
Two men, one woman, and a child. That's trouble. Big trouble.

This is the 4th book in the Southside Skulls MC Series. It is a Standalone Romance Novel but characters from the previous novels, DAX, CODY & GUNNER, are main players in this story too.
HEA and No cliffhanger. Intended for Mature Readers.

So this was a surprise and a good read. Not that the other two I have read in this series weren't but the writing seems to be more developed and the characters are more believable. Great job.

Nicole is trying to escape the hands of her abusive ex Spider. Getting out of her marriage was a blessing but the man wont let her go. He is still threatening her, still coming around and still controlling her life. Needing to escape with her son is on the top of her list. Zack overhears Nicoles situation while meeting over club business and decides he needs to help this woman no matter what the price.

Zack has a decision to make. A woman over club business ... he cant seem to get the story out of his head. Making a choice might prove easier than he thinks.

There are characters from the previous releases in this release so that's good. There is a ton going on but the story flows well. Spider is bat shit crazy so be prepared for that. Loved the characters and the plot in this one -- good easy read for a lazy day inside or at the beach!

Thank you for the ARC!

Amy's 4 star ARC Review of Day of Reckoning: Nomad Bikers (Devil's Due MC Book 4) by Chelsea Camaron

Time served for a crime he didn't commit only provided many lessons learned. The domino effect of one person's crime going unpunished cuts deeply and leaves a mark that can never be covered.

He's no saint.
Jackson 'Rowdy' Presley did a dime, and he served his time silently. He could have brought down the real criminals, but instead he took the term and paid the price. Never having loyalty before the Devil's Due MC, he finally has the new beginning he desperately needs.

She's not afraid to call herself a sinner.

Peony Michele Forbes lives her life wherever the wind takes her. She walked away from her past to give herself a future with no restrictions. As much as she wants to forget who she is, others don't want to let her disappear so easily.

However, danger follows her everywhere she goes.

Will Jackson see beyond his jaded connection to Michele and find there is more to life than revenge? When backed to the wall, will Michele let herself trust Jackson to be the one to save her?

Love, hate, anger, and passion collide as the time comes, and the devil demands his due.
Each book in the Devil's Due MC is a standalone, second chance romance. Contains adult content, language, and violence not suitable for readers under the age of 18. This is not an exact depiction of life in a motorcycle club, but rather a work of fiction meant to entertain. (Paperback page count is 298 in a 5x8 sizing)

Series Reading Order:
Serving My Soldier (Bonus Short Story)
Crossover (Devil's Due MC and Vipers Creed MC Prequel) written with Ryan Michele
In The Red
Below The Line
Close The Tab
Day of Reckoning
Paid In Full
Bottom Line

Ok so stay with me on this one. Rowdy and Michele have a past that is filled with a lot of deception and a definite someone screwed someone over. They were high school sweethearts who thought everything had fallen in to place but then life took a shit turn and everything changed. Torn apart by lies the two are now living lies. Rowdy has done time for a crime he didn't commit and Michele is dead ... or so he thinks.

Rowdy finds that his past isn't buried in the ground. In fact he just found the woman he loved in more trouble than when he went to prison. Running to find her and save her proves he still loves the woman but getting her to trust him and getting to her in time is another ballgame all together. She picked the worst people to manipulate her -- the cartel is not to be messed with and his woman just walked into the snake pit.

This was a very good read. I really loved these two characters with the exception of a few incidences with Michele. She needed to have more of a backbone at times and realize what the heck was going on around her. However she did redeemed herself by growing some balls and getting back in the game. I felt sorry but angry with her that she was so dumb! HA!

Thank you for the ARC and chance to read.

Amy's 5 star ARC Review of Two Bit (Satan’s Fury MC #7) by L. Wilder

Two Bit:
I've never been one to hold back. I've always said what was on my mind - right or wrong - and earned my name because of it. Giving my two cents hasn't always been a good thing, but on one fateful night, it led me to her. She was a once-in-a-lifetime kind of girl. Undeniably beautiful. Fearless. Unforgettable.

I wanted her, but getting mixed up with her nearly cost me my life.

I tried to fight it. I tried to save myself from the flame... but after one touch, I knew there was no turning back.

Zoe would be mine.

Zoe:
Sometimes, you've got to hit rock bottom before you can find a way to move forward. Well, it's time for me to find a way to move forward, because I've sure as hell hit rock bottom.
My father, the president of the Chosen Knights, died and left me a legacy I didn't want. The club was supposed to be my family, but with my father gone, they'd gotten tangled up in things I wanted no part of. I wanted out, free from the torment, but I was stuck with no money and no place to go. I'd thought all hope was gone.

Until he walked into the bar. As if he'd stepped out of my dreams, he was everything I'd ever wanted. Brave. Loyal. Drop-dead gorgeous.

Being with him came at a price - a price I wasn't sure either of us could pay.

When sparks fly and ignite a war, who will be left standing in the ashes?

The brothers of Satan's Fury earn their name in this fast paced, insta-love, action packed, MC romance. Two Bit is book seven of the Satan's Fury MC series. This book is a full-length standalone novel that's intended for mature audiences only due to the explicit language and violence. Reader discretion is advised.

Get ready for a wild ride!

Two Bit and Zoey -- oh boy ... So hard man with good intentions and fights for what he wants even if what he wants is another clubs woman ... or sort of woman ....

Zoey was left a legacy she didn't want. Her father is gone and the MC is getting into things that scare her -- they are going off the rails and leaving a bad broken road of death and destruction behind them. This is not the life her father wanted and not the life for her. She has nothing though and no where to go .. until she walks in and finds him .. in the bar ... looking mighty fine.

Two Bit is going to have the fiery woman -- she is from the other side. But things aren't going her way. He will rage a war down on the men who are putting her in harm's way. It will rain down!

This was a fantastic story! I love Satan's Fury. I have to say the "other club" is not an MC that I would want to roll up to and say hey. ... NOPE ... As always the characters have banter, passion and they love their women. Strong characters make for a strong read especially in the Satan's Fury series. There isn't one character that you will wish wasn't there or regret reading.

Thank you for the ARC and the once again great release.

Amy's 4 star ARC Review of Roamer (The Nomad Series #3) by Janine Infante Bosco

Deuce:
The first moment I stared into Ally’s tortured blue eyes, my subconscious knew I’d never escape her. She called to the darkest part of my soul and made it impossible to ignore the strange pull I felt towards her.
Some things are just meant to be.
As long as we were both breathing, my heart would do time with hers. Like the famous outlaw lovers, Bonnie and Clyde, Ally and I committed the perfect crime. I claimed her heart, and she stole mine.
I only meant to save her.
To heal her.
Now, my past threatens to ruin her.
Wanted dead or alive, I’ve got her by my side and together we’ll ride.

Ally:
I thought the world forgot me.
That I had died at fourteen.
But, I never knew life until I knew him.
Rescued and healed, I found love in the face of an outlaw.
Whether he fails or flies, I’ll ride until I die.
I’m his Bonnie and he’s my Clyde.
A love as strong as ours will never die.

***NOTE:Contains explicit sexual situations, violence, offensive language, and mature topics. This book deals with highly sensitive subjects, such as kidnapping and human trafficking. Please be aware of these triggers and keep them in mind while reading. Through all the sensitive subjects, the storm passes and the sky clears....there is a happily ever after waiting on the other side. ***

Nomad MC -- Deuce has an ugly past but he has moved on by taking the road or so it might seem. Brought up in the MC life he believes his father was killed at the hands of those same men so leaving and running or riding was the thing to do. Settling in with the guys in Arlington seems like the thing to do. Never did he think he would end up rescuing the girl he was meant to be with; just as broken as him.

Ally was taken -- 14 years old and tossed into the dark -- kept with drugs and things that won't make her aware. Abused and addicted .... everything innocent was taken while her hands couldn't fight ... she is a no one. She is trying to fix the parts that are broken but the only way to do that is to keep shoving more bad in her body ... until him.

This is a up and down romance with a lot of maybe situations that could be considered violent? Not over the top for me but could be for some. Two tragic souls searching for something and having to fight is the preface -- good read with good characters. Love this author and the stories she tells. Give this one a click for an easy yet enjoyable and emotional journey.

Thank you for the ARC --

Amy's 4 star ARC Review of Butcher (The Devil Souls MC #3) By Leann Ashers

He stalked me from the moment he saw me. He watched me day and night.

Butcher is what everyone calls crazy. They see all the tattoos and scars and to be honest, to most people he looks downright scary. He’s dangerous. He is after all the enforcer to the Devil Souls MC.

But to me? He’s just Butcher. I see him. I see who he really is. I see a man who will do anything for the people he cares about. I see the man who will protect and love me above everything else.

I am just as obsessed with him as he is me. I will die for him and he would kill for me.

What everyone doesn’t know is I have the same crazy inside of me...

This book can be read as a stand-alone but I recommend reading the others first to get the full experience.

The third installment in this MC series proves to be a hit in my opinion. I have to be honest I did not read book one, but I did book two and it wasn't my favorite. However, Butcher and Shaylin are a winning combination of possessiveness and sass.

These books are standalones but I'm finding I need to go back and read Torch if I'm going to continue with the series ... and I am.

I love the mentions of the other characters and so I need to know the back story. In this release Shaylin is a strong lead and the daughter of an MC president .. Butcher is the enforcer which means he's the one who makes sure everyone behaves to say it nicely.

These two blow up the pages. Great characters .. great storyline and great addition.
Love this one. Thank you for the ARC and chance to read.

Amy's 4 star ARC Review of Cessy (A Silent Sons MC #1) By Ambere Sabo

I was born the Princess of an MC I knew nothing about. Thrown into their world of crazy, when I had no other options. Despised by the club for things out of my control. It took me a long time to find my way in this life, but I became the Princess I was born to be. Now they have taken my Pops from me, and I will bring hell on earth to those who caused his death. The Silent Sons have promised to help me find those responsible. While I was looking for answers, I found Mr. Tall, Dark, and Broody. Will he be my saving grace in this life or will we both lose our lives when we find an enemy more twisted than we could imagine?

Cessy is looking and digging. Her father was murdered and she will raise hell and wake the dead to find out who did it .. who took her father from her. He was the one who taught her to be tough as nails .. MC life isn't easy. The man was her life. There had been no one who compared until ....

Viper is a shadow who doesn't need anyone. This woman doesn't need to drag the MC into her shit. She needs to go look elsewhere for someone to drag down with her.

As things progress and the hole is dig deeper the two find out there is more to everything .. including each other. Maybe they aren't as different as they think.

Good read and good start to a series. Thank you for the ARC. If you love MC this is your book.

Amy's 5 star ARC Review of Beard Up (The Dixie Warden Rejects Book 6) by Lani Lynn Vale

Ghost [gohst] noun: the soul of a dead person, a disembodied, vague, shadowy spirit wandering among or haunting living persons; a mere shadow or semblance; a trace.

That noun sums up Ghost and what his life has become with painful precision. He is barely living, merely existing but never thriving. There wasn’t much that could pull him from the darkness he willingly inhabits…except one thing. Her.
She is the reason he’s done what he’s done, and his life has become what it has become.

He haunts his former life, lurking in the background, surviving on occasional glimpses of the only thing good that is left in his miserable life. The horror he has inflicted upon her is nothing compared to the terror that waits for her when someone moves in to take her from him.

The thing about being stuck in the past is that it is like walking through life backwards. She is always looking back, so she doesn’t see what is happening in front of her. Unfortunately for her, it turns out that the ghosts of the past aren’t nearly as terrifying as the monsters of the future.

They say that true love is like a ghost, something that many talk about but few have seen. It’s a good thing for that, too, because he’ll need that element of surprise to protect her. Hopefully when the dust settles, he’ll be able to resurrect more than just himself.

Ghost - something that cannot be seen but you feel his presence. Until you read this story you really don't have any idea what that simple word means. It will explode into something bigger, more fierce, loyal and a greater love than you ever imagined.

We as readers are bound to secrecy, but what I can tell you is that this is a story you do not want to miss. I had to re-read several pages because my jaw dropped - heart missed a few beats and my words were "no it can't be."

I could not have loved a storyline more. This is one of my favorites that I certainly will read again. Absolutely brilliant. Standing ovation and the cover is spot on. Thank you Lani! You outdid yourself on this release.

Thank you for the chance to read.

Amy's 4 star ARC Review of GUNNER: Southside Skulls Motorcycle Club (Southside Skulls MC # 3) by Jessie Cooke

Tall, dark, sexy, blue-eyed Gunner Davis wears a leather kutte that he believes to be his father's.
His mother was holding onto it the morning he found her dead.
All the dreadlocked biker ever wanted was to be part of a family.
When the faces of danger come looking for him, so does a link to a family lost.

Tamara's father Randall, is the VP of the Head Hunters MC Club.
He is over-protective, and the last person he wants anywhere near his daughter, is a carefree and careless associate of a rival club.
Gunner and Randall do have one thing in common... They will kill for those they love.

This is the third book in the Southside Skulls MC Series.
This is a Standalone Romance Novel but is intended to be read after books 1 & 2… “DAX” and “CODY” where characters in those novels are main players in this story too.
HEA and No cliffhangers. Intended for Mature Readers.

Holding onto a cut he thinks is his fathers Gunner has no one. His mother was clinging to it when he found her dead. The streets are his home and they aren't safe. His past is lost to him. The leather jacket has to lead to something. But trouble has found him before he found the missing link.

Tamara is drawn to the man she found broken and bleeding but she will never fall for a biker. Her father would have a say - he is with the rival club.

When the past meets the present and danger falls all around the one thing Gunner and Tamaras father want to protect the most maybe they will come together.

Gunner is so arrogant I wanted to punch him. Tamara was the sweet and adoring yet strong female lead I love. Gunner did redeem himself a bit but he was hard for me to not want to smack a few times. Dax and Cody play a huge part in this release although it is a standalone. Good read and good addition to the series.

Review to post to Ramblings From Beneath The Sheets. Thank you for the ARC!
