My Review of The Design by R. S. Grey

*I received an ARC for an honest review*

Synopsis

A full-length standalone from USA TODAY bestselling author R.S. Grey. There are overlapping characters from The Duet, but both books can be read separately.

Five minutes until the interview begins.

Fresh on the heels of her college graduation, Cameron Heart has landed an interview at a prestigious architecture firm.

Four minutes until the interview.

She knows she's only there because the owner, Grayson Cole, is her older sister's friend.

Three minutes.

For the last seven years, Grayson has been the most intimidating man Cammie has ever had the pleasure, or displeasure, of being around.

Two Minutes.

But the job opportunity is too good to pass up. So, Cammie will have to ignore the fact that Grayson is handsome enough to have his own national holiday.

One.

After all, she shouldn't feel that way about her new boss. And, he will be her new boss.

...

"I'm not intimidated by you," I said with a confident smile.
"Perhaps we should fix that, Ms. Heart. Close the door."

Review-
She has done it again.  I immediately fell in love.
It's hilarious, it's sexy, it's cute!

Grayson Cole and Cameron Heart have an immediate attraction and throughout the first part of the book we are tormented with the pull they have for one another.  Will they get together?  Will they not?  It was a tug of war game and it had my emotions all over the place.   The tension was unbearable at times.  I just wanted to slap them both.

I enjoyed the humor and wit that was brought to Cameron.  It totally worked with the calm and cool Grayson.  She is also strong and independant.  She works hard to prove she is worthy!

Grayson has been behind the scenes for years watching and taking care of Cameron. (Without her knowledge) Being the long time friend of Cammie's sister it's hard to not be in her life.   But what happens when her presence is around him daily.  Will the pull they have for one another be what puts him over the edge?  Can Cammie break down those walls and will Grayson truly open up and let her in?

This was a refreshing Love story. With no real drama.  No scandals.  Just two characters that will take a piece of your heart.  Two characters that want to find love and struggle to allow another in.

"He was the Mr. Darcy to my Elizabeth Bennet, the Prince Charming to my Cinderella, and most importantly, the Ron Weasley to my Hermione Granger."

5 stars!
