My Review - 

I have been WAITING for an MC book to leave me with a Hangover..... and this one has!  It took a day for me to sit on this and find the words to do this book justice.  I won't narrate the synopsis or detail the events that take place in this book.  What I will say is this.  

Head the warning that is given.  This book IS NOT for the FAINT of Heart.  This book is going to F*CK you up!  It is not an easy read.   It is the darkest of dark.   The author has pushed the envelope with this one and held nothing back.  Game Changer!  

This is not a love story.  It is packed  full of tragedy.  It is full of Violence, Murder, Drugs, Rape, Death, Heartache.   It's totally Raw and Gritty.  Dark and Emotional.  It's disturbing. It's full of  Loyalties and Sacrifices.   It is so totally F*cked up and yet it is refreshing.  It's so above the normal MC reads.  

Kick - the hot alpha male who is sexy, smart, raw, and ruthless.  It is mostly told through his point of view.  He jumps from past to present.  The shit from his past filters into the man we see in the present.  

"I'm not the hero in this story; I'm the motherfucking villian."


The heroine in this one is as strong as she can be after being victim to some crazy f*cked up shit.  We get parts of the story told in her point of view.  Your heart is going to be ripped apart reading her story.  You have been warned!  

"I love the broken ones because for a brief second, in the heat of the moment, I can forget how f*cked up I truly am inside.  I can forget about the darkness that I crave.  I can forget who I am and focus on someone else's pain, because that has to be infinitely better than wallowing in my own."

My heart raced, I was on the edge of my seat, this one literally kicked my ass.  It took me on one hell of a ride.  You will be broken while reading this one.  Your heart will be in your throat.    You will walk away replaying scenes you read about.  

With all the crazy, taboo, f*cked up shit the author wrote about.... it was genius!  Bravo to you Ms Jenner!  And if I deemed a crazy person for loving this like I do - then I gladly accept that title and walk away.  

One Click It.   Fall in love with Kick.....such a ruthless tortured soul.  And yet - such a beautiful man.
