Amy's Review- 5 stars and then some

Gina Whitley has absolutely outdone herself. This was the first book I have had the honor of reading by this literal genius. There are so many emotionally charged twists and turns to this heart wrenching story and so many "societal" issues brought to light as well. First and foremost let me start with the characters Gia Mastro and Abel Gunner. Both have torrid childhoods; one suffering from abuse and the tragic loss of a sibling at his own hands while another suffered a heartless mother and father whom only put on a show of family and love for the political and ever punishing high society stigma.

Abel Gunner, is lead singer of the band Lethal Abel, and is exactly what makes up Gia's beautiful nightmares; her erotic desires and fantasies. His rasping, melodic voice threatens to rip your heart out of your chest and leave you fighting for the very breath he robbed you of with his seduction. His kisses, torment your soul, leaving you ruined and craving more. His Dom characteristic, and his appetite for seduction is the most intense and commanding yet of those read. After a chance encounter with Gia, his need to dominate this woman is like fire in his soul. One touch is not enough, he knows one kiss wont alleviate his need; his needs to own her. Abel wants to consume Gia and never leave her body. How can this be though. No one has touched Abel in such a way as Gia. Is this the one women who will break him or can he submit her and sway her into the dungeon.

Abel's emerald eyes touch the deepest part of Gia's essence in a way that terrifies her. She fears he can see her secret. Lies, guilt, and betrayal lay beneath her skin, and she's terrified of being exposed. Her mother raised her to take and to destroy. How will Gia ever begin to explain to Abel that his heart is all she wants? She doesn't believe she's worthy of him, and her greatest fear is that she will be left shattered. Can she go through with her plan? Is there more to this man then meets the eye? How can she ever be with another after allowing Abel to rivet her every need and desire. Her mother Eva will rip everything Gia has ever wanted from her if she finds out the truth or will Morgana get there first.

This is a twisted and erotic love story of two tormented hearts trying to find their way. Neither is prepared for what lies ahead and if it will break them. The storyline is exceptional and you see other stories arising as well with band mates and Gia's best friend Cindy. The cliffhanger will leave you screaming for more. I had to read it over and over to get it through my head the words that were spoken and how things were left until the next book.

One of the BEST additions in this book is the video links provided by Ms. Whitney These links are direct hits to the band Our Last Night who was her muse for Saving Abel. Don't skip it -- push play! This added gift in the book adds an intense reality to events that just occurred in the story and gives you a direct line to Abel and his emotions. As well, the book addresses bullying through The Bully Project. 100 percent of the proceeds from the collaborative tee in the link provided will go to The Bully Project in order to continue their efforts to end bullying. In the story, you are also provided a link to the release of Our Last Night's new music video for Sunrise. I absolutely LOVE this.

Bravo Gina! I applaud your story and you insight of bringing light to challenges faced by those who suffer from abuse and bullying. We are all waiting with baited breath for the next chapter.
