Callum Alexander is naughty; oh he is naughty; and then of course there is Lucia. LOL! Seriously both characters are so well written. WOW! I love that first about this book. You all know I love it when an author gives you connection with the characters and you have that here. I know sometimes it seem you just want to get on with the story but in some books; as in Crave; knowing Callum and Lucia adds so much to what you are going to move through as you continue flipping the pages. Both Callum and Lucia are self-determining, strong people. There is no doubt they both get what they want when they want and how they want.
Callum is a well-known architect. His reputation is a golden boy of sorts; a clean image but he is a closet dirty bird! Callum doesn't want a connection or link to one woman. Females of all types flock to him giving him the opportunity to take when he wants. The intimacy of a commitment is NOT for him. Callum has secrets that he feels could destroy his clean image his desires and demons all wrapped up in one are not a good combination for a golden boy. Reputation is everything being drugged through the mud and destroying your name is not an option. Secrets start to unravel as we move through the pages and it leaves you on the edge of your seat.
Lucia Harding is the co owner of a magnificent Greek restaurant with her brother. She is sassy, driven and has a what you see is what you get attitude. Meeting Callum she doesn’t drop to her feet begging him for anything like his other woman or much less anything that he is used to. Lucia brings out everything Callum is trying to hide. Events that are devastating could cause Callum to lose everything. The most important thing threatening to walk away is the only woman who has ever meant anything to him.
What a twisty roller coaster of a read. New to me this is a great story. I really loved the mystery and spent a lot of time wondering what the heck Callum was hiding and lord …. I really hope we get some additional stories from other characters in this book because we could continue on with the drama for sure! LOVED IT!
