NO surprise that yet again, Bella knocked this one out of the park.
This is the story of Mack....the mysterious, sexy alpha! YUM! He is also weak and damaged. He was given a HUGE bomb shell at the ending of book two. He hasn't always been dealt the best of hands and he puts up this tough guy act and yet there is a softer side to him just waiting for someone to come along and get under his skin. To pull him out of his rut and allow him to grow and to love once again. He is looking for help.... and in walks Jaylah - this girl is a SPIT FIRE!!!! Her takes shit from no one attitude made me love her. She's sassy and seriously has no clue as to what she walked into when she knocked on Mack's door. And on the flipside - when she walked into Mack's life...he had no idea the tornado that was on the way.
The two of them together had me in stitches and yes.....even panting and needing a fan. The relationship between the two of them unfolds slowly. Making it even more intense. The sexual tension is apparent from the moment she walks into his life. He truly did not know what she was capable of. She is a lot to handle. She puts him in his place on more than one occasion. I literally laughed out loud on many occasions and the relationship and banter their characters shared. Bella did an amazing job with that.
There is trouble though....but what would an MC book be without a little trouble. There are some twists and turns. Will the two of them realize that they care enough for each other to make it official? To stop playing cat and mouse and just give in to the Pull they have for one another. Can Mack handle Jaylah? Can Jaylah handle Mack ? Can they find a HEA?
We aren't left without our faves from previous books.....they all make their appearances again. Still those hard core bikers and the women who love and put up with them.
Bella is one of those authors who you just hear she has a book out and you one click.... She has never disappointed me...... She grabs you by the balls and reals you in.....you become a part of the characters and you are taken on one hell of a ride each time. Emotional, raw, sexy as hell, edge of your seat, and totally kick ass! This is another FIVE stars!
