Amy's 4.5 star review of Thrash (Fire and Steel #3) by Kaylee Song

I've got demons riding my back, but all I want is her.

This is a stand-alone title in the Fire and Steel MC world. It can be read separately, but you'll want them all.

He's a cold hearted bastard. That is until he met Nora.

He’s falling for her, but as Rage's right-hand man, Thrash has to stay focused on the task at hand. He has to be the cold hearted man that the club relies on. Fire and Steel must confront their traitorous former club president, Bones, once and for all.

She's struggling to make it in the wider world, and he's the only one who can help.

Nora abandoned her life with her oppressive family for the chance to become a real artist. The club isn’t just a place for commissions and patronage, though. Now, she works to understand the members of Fire and Steel, but does she really understand the stakes?

As alliances shift and new players are revealed, Thrash and Nora must face their deepest fears. Will they be able to find true happiness with one another in the middle of all-out war?

4.5 stars

Kaylee brings us back into Pittsburgh in the midst of a war between the remaining members of Fire and Steel, Bones and potentially his new crew. Some of the old members left with Bones but Rage has new recruits coming in under Wrath’s supervision.

Thrash (DeMarcus Fletcher) has been watching the most beautiful woman he has ever seen all night at the gallery. He sees that no one appreciates her art. All of the high society jerks aren’t truly looking for art with meaning; art with emotion. He hasn’t approached her as he is due at church in less than 20 minutes but now she is coming his way.

Nora Bonnet left her privilege life. Suffering at the hands of parents who didn’t want her, were abusive and expected her to be the perfect socialite was not what she wanted. She loved art. The beautiful man that bought her one and only piece sold at her exhibit memorized her but he walked away. With her exhibit somewhat of a failure she takes the job offered to her by Fire and Steel. The sweet woman she spoke to, Layla, calmed her reserve of the rumors she heard about the MC. Nora didn’t have much choice though if she wanted to make rent and have food in her stomach. Little does Nora know that her one and only admirer is the VP of Fire and Steel.

This is a great installment to the Fire and Steel series. We have Rage and Layla with her expecting belly, Wrath and Emma, Mick, Crow, Jackal, Nyx (both served with Wrath) and Junker. Strike is still in the midst of things as well as Hawk. Speaking of Hawk, Desiree is brought in to continue patching him up after his injuries and there is some major tension there. I cant wait to hear that story!

There are some new players brought in and things are getting interesting. There is much more to the story I think of what happened to Thrash’s father and this is just the beginning of what I believe are hidden secrets. We still really don’t know why Sean was killed and there is an admission that maybe I took wrong but I don’t think so.

I love this series. Keep them coming Kaylee! Also my personal recommendation .. I wouldn't read them as a standalones! Cant wait to see whats on tap next.
