Amy's 5 star ARC review of Until Jax by Aurora Rose Reynolds

Ellie Anthony isn’t looking for love. She isn’t even looking for a man, but when Jax Mayson insists on keeping her and her daughter safe, she’s left with no choice but to trust him. Now she just hopes she doesn’t get hurt when she falls hard for a guy who’s known for breaking hearts.

Jax Mayson knows that Ellie is his BOOM the moment he sees her. When he finds out she has a daughter, he realizes he wants a family, and he will do whatever is necessary to keep both of his girls safe, even if that means facing the demons from his past.

5 stars

Sigh .. okay so we have another story centered around our Mayson family. I just love these books. Aurora Rose Reynolds has gifted us a family like no other along with additional characters that we instantly love as well. This book, the first installment in her Until Him saga, is a gem. Jax Mayson, son of Cash and estranged mother Jules, raised by Lilly. The whole family is here and I love it. Some more than others but we get mention of most of the crew. Its WONDERFUL … just WONDERFUL. Yes .. I get all warm and fuzzy reading these … yes me. I know right?!?!?!

Jax has found himself not letting go of Ellie after rescuing her along with his cousin July. Yes, Wes and July are here with us in this book and Uncle Nico too. YAY! Anyway Jax refuses to let Ellie go back to her old life vowing to keep she and her daughter safe. Lilly does a great job convincing Ellie to give it a chance knowing that her son has found his “boom.” Jax is willing to do whatever it takes to make Ellie see that “his girls” needs to be with him. No way will he let anything touch her again. Jax will do whatever it takes to keep her from harm and to see that she can trust him and his family. There is one man still out there and he will find him as Ellie’s safety depends on it. Girls are still being taken and there is no guarantee that whoever he is wont come back for Ellie. Jax wont stop until Ellie and her daughter are safe AND she realizes they both now belong to him. --- Um … okay …. My only issue is why do these women fight this? But I guess if I was the author it would be about three sentences long. “Your mine.” -- “Okay.” --- The End. LOL! Kind of NOT a 5 star read at that point.

Ellie has no idea what to think of the Mayson family. She has been on her own since her brother and his wife died. Her mother was the one that sold her into the situation she found herself in. She has no one. Lilly Mayson convinced her to take a chance and jump in with both feet promising her she would be safe from harm with her son Jax and that they were her family now. Ellie’s life was always hard and she is finding it difficult to believe that people can be so kind but for her daughter’s sake she is going to give this a shot. Ellie finds Jax infuriating and captivating all at the same time. Everywhere she turns woman are claiming they hold his heart. How can she trust a man that says she is not going anywhere and there is no one else when there are woman constantly wrapping themselves around him. Stay or go? What chance does Ellie have on her own? Her daughter comes first. She must protect her and at least now they are out of the trailer park away from threats her old neighborhood held. Ellie knows her heart must be protected as there is no room or time for someone to break it.

This was a fantastic read with some suspense, a lot of push and pull and some antics from the Mayson girls which I loved. They drive those Mayson men crazy. Its flipping awesome! In return they get a man who is committed, sexy as hell and love their “booms” more than their own lives. I had to go back and make a chart of who belonged to who which helped me keep the kiddos straight. Nico’s clan is HUGE to say the least. I cant wait for the next read. You get a short snippet at the end of Until Jax but Im keeping that under wraps for you to find out on your own.

Click this up friends – its really really great – its Jax …. Do I need to say anything else?
I was provided an ARC for an honest review. Review to post on Ramblings From Beneath The Sheets. Thank you Aurora Rose Reynolds!
