Amy's 5 absolutely brilliant stars ARC Review of The Wrath of Cain (The Syndicate Series Book 1) by Kathy Coopmans

Watch the Wrath unfold! Clubs. Mafia. Drugs. Murder. And the man they all know as Scarface, will leave you guessing in book one of this brand new series...

Eloped at the age of eighteen. Separated at the age of eighteen. Disappeared at the age of eighteen. This is what happened to Calla Greer. Her perfect life was shattered on her wedding day when she caught her husband Cain with another woman just hours after they said I do. With her heart broken, she moves across the border to Windsor, Canada to get away from the nightmare she stumbled upon. Hell bent on going to college and fulfilling her dream of becoming a lawyer.

After six long years of still being married, Calla returns to Detroit to have Cain sign divorce papers.

Only Cain has changed.

He’s bitter, angry and for a good reason.

At least that’s what he’s been telling himself for the past six years. Cain Bexley had fifteen minutes to destroy his marriage to protect the woman he loved.

He did the only thing he could think of to make her leave. He jumped in bed with a woman. Life at home was a lie. Lives were at risk. People are not who they seem.

Not even Cain’s dad or Calla’s parents are who they say they are. When Calla shows up begging for a divorce. He shows her exactly who he is and no way in hell will he sign those papers.

What happens when six years later she returns? The only woman he has loved. A woman who has changed herself! When all the lies surface will she be able to forgive everyone she has trusted in her life or will Calla turn to the man who destroyed her?

5 absolutely brilliant stars

How many times can I click that 5 star button cause I need to ....

This is so juicy good I cant even stand it. Drugs, Murder, Suspense, mafia, gun running, MC, bad ass women, and scrumptious men … YES please and thank yooouuuuu! Kathy I need to hug and squeeze you. This book has all my favorite yummies wrapped up in a tight exhilarating package.

Callas dreams are with Cain and being a lawyer. Cain’s life is wrapped around Calla. His father is the president of the notorious Sinners of Revolution MC but they are on the right side of the law. Cain doesn’t want to take over the MC, he wants to be a cop. John Greer and Jed Bexley have hated each other almost their entire life. Each has forbid their children to be together but Cain and Calla haven’t listened and now they have gotten married. Both 18 and both ready to start their lives together Calla heads out to the MC after allowing Cain time to speak with his father. Her father didn’t handle the news well. Hopefully Cain fared better. Cain’s stepmother Darcy embraced the marriage but Jed not so much. Running to find Cain, Calla’s life is shattered into a million pieces only a few hours after she thought her life just began. Cain is in bed with Emerald Jefferson.

Six years later Calla returns home after fleeing that same day to Canada. Finally ready to face her husband and demand a divorce, immediately she realizes things are much different than when she left. Cain is not the same man nor is the clubhouse. What in the hell has happened to the man she once loved and why is he saying now that she is back he won't be allowing her to leave.

And .. that’s all you are getting from me because BOOM baby here we go. Buckle up and get ready for the most thrilling ride on the deceitful damn crazy train there is. HELL YES! Not only is this one of the most nail biting stories I have read this year but the cast of characters …. Dang woman! And yes there is going to be more. Let's see there is Manny, a person I wont name because you will meet him and I'm not giving it away but holy good sweet baby Jesus he was like taking a 2x4 to the face, Salvatore and the cliffhanger …. Um … Kathy … when is the next book? PLEASE HURRY! The Wrath of Cain is a completely beautiful shit storm.

I also want to know more about the MC men. Beamer, Coon Dog … there is so much to learn. Im breathing heavy just writing this …
Kathy’s series Shelter Me was very very good but she has outdone herself with Cain. Girl you can write your ass off. Incredible. Click it up … Don’t wait .. get it on release day!

I was provided an ARC for an honest review. Review will post to Ramblings From Beneath The Sheets. Thank you Kathy … I'm ready for the next please!
