My 5 star review of Tank (Savage Saints MC Book 2) by Carmen Jenner

Can I just say that I don't know how Carmen comes up with the things the writes.  She's so Dark and Twisted and I want to crawl into her mind to see how it works.  The woman is AMAZING!  BRILLIANT!  I feel like I need to highlight the warning she gives because like it is said... this book is not intended for pussies!

Killer. Criminal. Sociopath.
All of these words have been used to describe me, and for the longest time I believed that that’s all I was.
I’m the man you call in to clean up your mess, assuming your mess is a guy who needs a bullet to the head. I’m the man the MC calls when they want their dirty work done.
I’m the man who doesn’t feel.
Until now.
Until her.
Now my mess is a woman who won’t save herself. I’ll fight like hell to save her, but at what price to the club? And at what cost to me?

Warning: TANK contains graphic violence, profanity, drug use, and explicit sexual situations that may be a trigger and cause some readers emotional discomfort. Intended for an 18+ audience only. Not intended for pussies.

Where do I begin..... I went into this book with such High Expectations because after reading Kick (the first in this series) I walked away with a book hangover of all hangovers.  Carmen took me on one hell of a ride and I loved it.  So, yes....Carmen had BIG shoes to fill and boy did she ever!  It's these kind of books that I crave!  That leave me with such a Mind F*ck!   I will try not to relive the synopsis or give away spoilers.

As with the first, you are warned right off and that is no joke!  This book is brutal, and it's violent and it takes you on a complete mind f*ck.  Rips out your heart.....smashes it....stomps it.....then does volatile things to you while you are down.    You are used and abused!  And yet....it's beautiful!

It has literally taken me days to write this review because you are simply left speechless when it's over.  Finding the right words to convey your thoughts without giving away too much is hard.  Especially when you are wiping away tears.

Ivy - sitting here just thinking of what she went through makes my heart ache all over again.  There were moments that I had to stop....catch my breath and then continue on.  Being abused and used and whored out.  Being addicted to things she had no control over.   Feeling as if she was worth nothing.  You will want to reach into the story and hug her.  Try to fix her yourself.

Tank - a heartless killer.  That's what he does.... he kills! He, himself, has been handed a sh*itload in his life and feels that love will only hold you back.   But he is drawn to Ivy - he needs to save her.  Tank comes across as this HARD biker.  Yet, you will see that underneath there is a softer side of him.

"Talk to me. Use me as your f**ckin punchin bag. Let me be your drug. Let me help you forget. I don't care how you do it, but find another way because I can't watch you die, Ivy."

Carmen has a way of illustrating and describing what these characters are going through.  It just pulls you in.  Like a fish on a hook - that has no chance of surviving.   Flopping around - gasping for air - until it's too late.  This story is not a pretty one.  Many parts are hard to swallow.  It's so dark - so disturbing!  Don't quit.  This is a love story you will.... need....to.... read!

Click it up peeps!  You won't be able to put this book down!  I, once again, walked away on a book hangover - mind blown!   Emotionally drained.  This is one that you will think about days after.
