Selby Reynolds is a sought after technology specialist. Not sure of the next assignment she accepts a position at Emerson Industries. Selby discoveries things she shouldn’t and gets caught up in dangerous secrets she wasn’t supposed to know. Garrett is pulling her into places she hasn’t ever dreamed of being. When Selby becomes a target Garrett is the only one she can trust but the games have just begun. 

This was a very fast read and it was decent but just not my choice of genre. There was suspense and things that kept me guessing but there was also a lot of smexy time. Again that’s okay but I like a deeper story and the characters … well I couldn’t make the connection to them. However if you like this style of story then this one is certainly for you. I LOVE this series – Yes I am an MC lover BUT I don’t give stars when they aren’t of quality so trust me when I say this one is a 5 star series and we have so much more to look forward to. 

Brentlee has always done what her mother has wanted her to – even when it meant turning a blind eye to her abusive husband. She knew he was NOT the man for her and once she got pregnant she knew she had to leave him. Her life was one thing but when he put his hands on their daughter Brent knew she had to leave. The only place she was certain she would have protection was with her sister. Her husband has not allowed her to se Kentlee but maybe she will forgive her and take her in. Kent’s husband -- Pierce Fury Duhart is the president of the Nortorious Devils MC. There isn’t anyone better to protect her than the club. Brent will do whatever she has to in order to gain their loyalty --- (Kentlee and Pierce’s story is Rough and Rowdy – go snatch it up!) 

Bates Sniper Lukin is a man with a past. He left the desert but his dreams haunt him. Riding with his new brothers; The Notorious Devils gives him purpose. The love of his life doesn’t need a man like him plus she is married. He watches her and he recognizes the abuse – he watched his mother cover hers up. Walking into the main room of the clubhouse he cant believe his ears or his eyes --- the woman he has loved and watched is sitting talking with his Prez asking for his protection. Kentlee will never let Fury turn her sister away; especially with the baby. Now what ….. ? And what did he just say? 

This is a story of righting the wrongs and doing what should have been done in the first place. Guilt, betrayal and a deep connection are the webs that are woven into Brent and Sniper’s love story. This is an excellent read with a lot of action packed events of the smexy and dangerous kind. I LOVED Bates and his heart. Brent sometimes got on my nerves but in the end I admired her strength of no holds barred leaving because her dick face husband put his hands on their child. 

This story does address domestic violence so please be aware if you have triggers. This book can be read as a standalone but the characters will continue to be connected throughout future releases. I personally recommend you go click them up because you wont be disappointed. Carry this one to the beach and read away! It's sooooo good!

Amy's 5 star ARC Review of Hardass by Christina Saunders

Okay … first of all lets just chat for a bit. Who in the heck would NOT pick this book up for reason number one the series title alone – Bad Bitch – uh yes. Give me those. LOL! I LOVE IT! Second did you look at the cover --- Right here push play on Jo Lo and Iggy’s song “Booty” -- Do you see it? DON’T LIE! That right there is worth a bunch of stars alone. 

On to the book! I really really enjoyed this story. I laughed at the interaction between our two main characters Wash and Caroline. How can you not they were playing games and having fun between the mix of investigating a serial killer and lord what a killer he is. WHEW …. Nasty man. From the get go I was a fan of Caroline’s mouth and her BFF Terell. I hope we get a story on him because I would LOVE to know what makes him tick – he is off the charts awesome!

Between the banter, add in Matt, plus the two brothers and a snarky associate --- this was a super read. You will NOT believe the suspense of the events on these pages. There is one heck of a wham bam hello … what!?!?!?!?! -- I never saw anything like what happened coming. Christina did an excellent job of leading you around and around in circles making you throw up your hands and say I don’t have a clue – CSI needs to step in. 

Wash and Caroline both work at the same law firm except for the fact that Wash is a partner in the firm while Caroline is working her way up. Her sassy pants attitude is enough to keep her moving up the ladder or maybe sometimes down. 

Im super happy that not only do we have a strong female lead that is smart and can throw her sass around not being afraid to speak her mind but she also doesn’t always follow the rules she is told to follow. This woman is no ones puppet. 

So now I have to go back and read Bad Bitch (Lincoln – Wash’s brother and Evangeline’s story –we do see them intertwined in this book) and I wait for Book 3 – Total Dick – yes! LOL! -- Kennedy’s story – the other Granade brother --- Granade, Granade & Granade --- (HAHA! Caroline – yup don’t miss that stream of cant shut my mouth syndrome she has in a conversation with Wash -- )

This read was not the best for me but it wasn’t the worst. The genre was somewhat different and maybe it was the time I read it or reading it after a few other books; but I just couldn’t get into the story. 

Georgia is a stock broker in London – she is one of the best tough as nails hard nosed women out there. She sticks to her guns and her expectations or rules not straying as they are the glue that holds her “hard” together. Being a female in a mans world is tough and if you want to get to the the top then you have to be better then the sharks circling you. Rule one: the most important rule .. never F**K your boss. Don’t stand for touching that isn’t professional, don’t stand for flirting and snide comments on how you look dress or that you have different part between your legs …. Definitely NEVER get his parts close to your parts because if you do … all is compromised. She should know because she is about to break rule number one --- Landon Banks …. Enough said. 

The characters were decent and I loved the fact that Georgia was a no holds bar work my way up on my own terms woman but I just couldn’t get into her character. I just became frustrated at points and definitely am for sure a 100 percent action type reader. If you don’t like the more brutal books this is one for you. 

Landon was a quiet lion circling until he got what he wanted. Predictable stories are hard for me to read and continue turning the pages. If you like the song and dance that goes with conquering each other then click this on up.

Amy's 5 star ARC Review of Imperfectly Matched! (The Matched Duet) by MJ Fields

Kat has found herself caught between a Qwerty and a rock hard alpha. 
Ricco's flippant attitude towards their highly sexual relationship and Kat's dating seems to be exactly what she needs. 
Ricco is the perfect wire-less / no strings, f**k buddy. He loves her peen collection even more than she does to the point she feels nearly battered after each encounter. But when he turns up the kink even more, when Match Up, becomes a twisted virtual version of a cuckold, even Kat tries to turn down the intensity. 
@Mr.Mister becomes inventive and creepy, @baller seems too familiar, and @rider1 becomes her closest confidant. 
When things get too intense, too emotional, and the past shows up, will Kat run from her problems once again, or will she be accepting of her ImPerfect Match?

OMGAWD --- Okay so this book had my laughing because I freaking loved “The Cat” … Kat is a no holds barred no shit taking woman. YUP! It was brilliant. What a great read of a strong female lead knowing what she wants and not having a filter on her mouth. However I did go back and have to read Unsocially Yours: Match This and The Unsocial Dater in order to get the full realm of this book. I had not read it and when I realized I was missing something I backtracked so that I would be up to speed. After you know Katherine Ann Teresa Brun’s background this will make you laugh even harder at her sassy pants. 
Side note: Now I have to go back and read her other series “Men of Steel” and “Ties of Steel” because these books are just too good – And the covers are better than awesome! 

Imperfectly Matched picks up exactly where the first book ends. Kat is getting her ass handed to her by Ricco while suddenly interrupted by her sister. Shoving him out her window .. yes … out the freaking window she runs to find out why there is crying and consoling going on. Ricco’s daughter has showered in the wrong place and The Cat is going to be mad. OMG … LOL! 

Ricco is so dreamy for one, he is a single father for two and he knows just how to handle his women or woman. When you peel his layers back there is so much to love about this man. His magical unicorn … its in high demand … bwwwaaahhhhh! He and his daughter are to die for. Natalia is adorable. And Ricco is so giving he leaves Papa Smurf with Kat. HAHAHAHAHA! Oh you have no idea. 

You also have Zack and Marcus bantering back and forth which is awesome in itself as well. A Venus Fly Snatch ... I can't even .... I really can't!

This book has it all – hilarious moments, deep emotions and points to show us that life can send us huge curve balls and somehow we not only manage survive but we end up owning it. Forever Steel needs more books. There is more to these characters stories and I need to hear them. 

These three books are really great reads that will have you laughing and wanting more. I took these along to the beach and loved every minute of them. Usually if Tracy and I get a book that is not the first book in a series or if we have not read the first books we will ask to get them before continuing. I took it upon myself to snatch the other two previous books up without asking because the first few pages I read from Imperfectly Matched were that good. 

Thank you for the ARC -- MJ. I need more of this. Send whatever else over and I will read it and review it with a smile on my face! Otherwise Im going to go grab them up anyway! 

Amy's 5 star ARC Review of Almost Innocent by Carina Adams

Things aren't always what they seem. Facts are only as credible as the person stating them. The truth doesn't always set you free. 

DO NOT SKIP OVER THE FIRST FEW PAGES ENTITLED "BEFORE YOU START." CARINA HAS SENT A POWERFUL PERSONAL MESSAGE. 

Wow … this was quite a read. You talk about a heartbreaking story. Easy read but earth shattering. What exceptional characters and amazing storyline. 

Declan Callaghan is out of prison for murder. He never thought he would serve the time. He thought his family would save him. Deception, betrayal and heartbreak changes all of that. Now he is out and the girl he loved is a woman. Gabriella Fortes was the reason he killed; and the person he killed …. He had his same blood running through his veins. 

Both of these characters have suffered a tornadic past. Each has held on to their sanity as best as he can. Gabby has given her son the best life she can and with Fiona standing beside her every step of the way they have done all they can to make sure they all stay safe. The Callaghan name holds meaning in the form of fear. Grady will never suffer at the hands of this family. 

Confusing .. yup. That’s the point so that you click it up and read it. I'm not giving you anything. The secondary characters are have a story in themselves and I hope we might get those; especially Fiona. Mark is somewhat of a secret as well. I would consider this book a stand alone as there is an HEA. Please be aware though this story deals with domestic violence. I don’t want to give away anything but the descriptions are somewhat vivid leaving me to warn you that if you have triggers or cannot read this type of story line then Almost Innocent is NOT for you. 

I want to applaud Carina for her “Before You Start” insert. Carina has written this story with a brave face as she states this topic brings out numerous emotions in her personally. More moving than the story weaving on the pages is the hand she is holding out to you in her words offering her support, love, friendship and help. 

Thank you Carina for the beautiful story and for bringing a taboo subject (for whatever reason our f**ked up society believes it to be) directly into the limelight. I hope and I will do my part that this book is plastered everywhere. For those that cannot read this type of book I hope that they at least will get to read your powerful words on the first few pages. Everyone needs to see those
.

I’ve never had them. Being homeless at the not-so-tender age of fifteen morphed me into an emotionless shell, and when The Army recruited me, that shell turned into steel.
They say if fire is hot enough, it can melt steel; the hate that burns between Melissa Hart and me just might be hot enough.
Shit doesn’t come easy for us. Enemies are expanded, secrets are revealed, and lives will be taken. Yeah, I’m Braxton “Hella” Ward, and you bet your f*cking ass that you ain’t ready for this story.

Helly wow …. Okay so Brax as we know him as Agen 112 is best friends with our man Beast. We met Beast in One Hundred and Thirty Six Scars … if you have no read it – go grab it up first. You don’t have to read it to understand what's going on in Hellraiser but in order to keep going with the series you should and you need to know what in the world is happening in incredible story line. 

We meet Brax at 15 living underneath a bridge homeless with his friend Tippy; an elderly man that is homeless as well but considered ruthless. However Tippy has taken Brax under his wing and wants more for him. While Tippy was giving Brax or Hella as we know him another good talking too, Brax is taken by The Army and Tippy killed. Now that is all I'm going to spoil for you in this release. 

Fast forward to present day with Beast as the President and Brax as the VP of the MC. 
The MC is coming to war. They are hunting Kurr and trying to protect their families while bringing him down. Phoebe is not stranger to the MC and being Melissa’s best friend she comes under the protection of the club. Hella getting whatever he wants knows he is going to dip into this woman once … because once is all he does. Melissa’s past is tragic. 

Here I will state if you have a trigger for violence against women DO NOT click this up OR go past it. The description is somewhat graphic and not for the faint of heart. In fact there are a few graphic moments that might send you over the edge so please take care and know if you cannot read violence of any sort or against women this is NOT the book for you. 

Moving on Melissa will never allow a man to have the upper hand. She uses them as stepping stones so getting her freak on with this tattooed badass one time is not a problem .. until it becomes a problem. There is so much banter and game playing between these two is comical. Jada as we met prior is also here and shows us a side of Hella that you would not have ever imagined he had in him. And this my friends along with when he does anything its full force 100 percent hard is why you will fall in love with this very brutal man. 

I did want to punch Melissa a few times because I wanted to say have you NOT learned you lesson but the point of the storyline and Melissa’s character was a very fricked up individual. So .. bravo on nailing that Amo. I just wanted to bitch slap her a couple of times. There is one hot mess of holy hell coming down from The Army and its going to be a good one. You won't believe the cliffhanger in this one. My mouth dropped to the floor. 

This is a great second book in this series; I'm calling it a series because I highly recommend you start with 113 Scars. You won't want to miss it. There is so much more to come and I can't wait to sit on the edge of my seat and find out what fiery blaze is about to rain down next. 

Great read Amo and thank you once again for the ARC! Don’t keep me waiting long please! I don’t think I can stand it.
