Garrett Emerson has built his empire taking risks. He has thrown himself into his corporation but still likes to play when the time is right. Bringing Selby into his company is the biggest gamble he has ever taken. Teaching her the ways of his world is going to be fun.
Selby Reynolds is a sought after technology specialist. Not sure of the next assignment she accepts a position at Emerson Industries. Selby discoveries things she shouldn’t and gets caught up in dangerous secrets she wasn’t supposed to know. Garrett is pulling her into places she hasn’t ever dreamed of being. When Selby becomes a target Garrett is the only one she can trust but the games have just begun.
This was a very fast read and it was decent but just not my choice of genre. There was suspense and things that kept me guessing but there was also a lot of smexy time. Again that’s okay but I like a deeper story and the characters … well I couldn’t make the connection to them. However if you like this style of story then this one is certainly for you.
