In The Red Nomad Bikers is the first book in the new Devil’s Due MC series given to us by Chelsea Camaron. The read is fantastic but there are some potential triggers due to the violence involved. There is one descriptive event but again if you can hang on it will be well worth it. The men of Devil’s Due are out for renegade justice. 

Unsolved crimes – that is what the men of Devil's Due MC follow up with. Each member has his own reasons and his own unsolved case he is chasing. Dover Collector Ragnes was the collector of souls; dark souls. Dover is chasing the man who killed his 9 year old sister. He rides with his five brothers with no roots. They don’t stay in one place long as they head toward the next target; the next lead. Raleigh Ragnes was riding her bike to her best friend's house when she never made it. Dover is responsible or at least he feels that way …. He was supposed to be watching her. Instead he was more concerned with the girl laying on his bed. 

Emerson Flint will never forget the day she lost part of her heart. Raleigh was like an angel. The night she disappeared was the end of Emerson. The case was never solved. Raleigh was found in a horrible place and what was done to her was worse. She wont ever forget. She had to leave the place she only felt pain … she had to get as far away as she could. 

Heading toward his biggest lead Dover never imagines he would be looking at the girl he remembers with such emotion. The past and the future have just collided with memories of agony and danger. 

This is a really fantastic start to what poses to be a amazing series. The secondary characters are just as intriguing as Emerson and Dover. Each man has a story to tell. Trapper, Rowdy, Deacon, Judge, and X will all have their revenge. Below the Line is next up – Owen X Gallow. Get ready because the snippet we get will leave you on the edge of your seat.

Isla was taken away from her family and friends after a tragic incident during spring break. She wasn’t the only one taken … there were numerous others. It was a perfect place to pick your prey. Broken, used, and forced to do things you cant imagine, Isla lost her innocence a long time ago. The drug cartel is something you don’t break free from. Refusing to be shattered Isla is strong and fights. She stands strong taking things on her own body so the frail girls wont suffer. 

Javier has wanted nothing but to work his way up the ranks of the cartel. He has moved up but not without blood. The man has a secret though and it may be his end and the end of a woman he wants to save. A violent man with a soul … 

The turmoil between these characters is completely off the charts. The first time you meet Javier you are going to think this is going to be brutal and you may or may not be right. I wont tell … I can tell you though that you wont believe the story woven on the pages. The story isn’t easy and it isn’t pretty. It will take you through some very dark places and you might lose yourself in the process. The ending .. hold on … 

I really love Kirsty Anne and her writing – I loved Saturdays at the Viper Room which was my first read by her. Thank you for the ARC Kirsty Anne!

I have loved this series from the beginning through the Joker’s Wrath and the Hell’s Knights to the Heaven’s Sinners I have loved them. Cade and Addison to Spike and Ciara to Pippa and Tyke; they are all here. 

I have loved Bella since Axel  graced my Kindle back in February of 2014. She writes us stories that we want to continue reading; stories that we need to know more and more; stories we don't want to end. 

Manacle is no different. This is Danny and Skye’s story --- Danny is the son of Spike and Skye is the daughter of Cade. Growing up together they knew each other's quirks, what they liked, when they were hurting, when they were happy … but they were never happier than when they were together. Danny was supposed to be her forever. Skye was supposed to be his but now that picture is shattered and it's all Skye’s fault. Her lies have torn not only Danny apart but also her family. 

I loved being back with the families. Not only is everyone here but you get to experience the teasing between the other kids, the parents and the brothers. Skye was running for maybe what I thought was a reasonable side for about one hot second but I then swiftly turned wanting to smack her upside the head numerous times and tell her to take her stupid ass back home. Hang on tight ... because there is a list that gets read ... and you are going to want to hold on for dear life when that list is about to come to light. I didn't want to flip the page .... I knew my heart wouldn't recover from anything else. 

The characters are still wonderfully written, the story is another great read and I can't wait for more. However beware … because I felt like this was a preface of the end coming soon based on some of the chosen words on the last few pages …. I hope not but as the events unfold it feels as if we are working our want into saying goodbye … I hope I am WRONG!

Amy's 4 star ARC Review of Unrequited (Fallen Aces MC #1) by Max Henry

Dark contemporary romance. Contains violence.

I love Max Henry and this new series doesn’t fall short! The cover is absolutely beautiful. I love the orange – the cover alone draws you in ready to flip the pages and dig in. Be ready for a cliffy … and it’s a big one … 

King and Elena – remember them? YUP this is their story. These two characters were thrown and I mean thrown together like a train running into a wall. You don’t need to read the events that go down in the from the previous series they appeared in so you are good. However I do recommend you head back and pick up The Butcher Boys when you get a chance. 

The obstacles these two face are just more than you can even imagine. Im telling you anything that you can think up .. it's worse and more. Eleana was given to the Cartel in order to have a better life. Surrounded by the mayhem of crime rampant throughout her country this was the only way. Needing to care for her father she is given the path to go to him before being given to Carlos. 

King is prospecting for the Fallen Aces MC. He has worked hard his entire life and nothing felt right until he found his brothers. Seeing Eleana, while passing through after a meeting that turned him into a wounded man, he knows this woman is the only one for him. One meeting leads to the next until the lies unfold and the truth can't be unheard. I wanted to go put a bullet in someone’s head in particular, look at both of them and drop the mic so they could continue on as I wanted them to. 

This is where everything start to get “real” for King and Eleana. And again, the cliffhanger is a I can't believe this is happening moment .. you are going to bang on your Kindle for the next pages to turn and all you are going to see is neon yellow …. Unbreakable … it's coming and you are going to have to wait … I need the cover as much as I need the story!

Crave Me was not an ARC for me. It was a choice to click after seeing Tracy post a snippet from Undo Me (the third book in The Good Ol Boys Series). I consumed Undo Me which then led me to Austin. I thought Dylan and Aubrey tied me in knots ….. little did I know their story was just the tip of what she would put me through …. 

First let's talk about the cover since you all know the covers are something that do me in. I also go back and take the time to appreciate it AFTER finishing the book. If you don’t do that I encourage you to immediately flip to it once you read the last page. I think I held it in my gaze for at least five minutes, soaking in every freckle, every inch, the beanie (which holds significance), the eyes, the surfboard … all of it. Mitch Mckersie you made Austin for me. 

Austin Taylor was the youngest of the boys. He was always trying to prove that he was worthy; hiding who is really was. Half Pint was his best friend. He loved her like no other but Lucas was her world. It pained him to see the boys hurt her; especially Lucas. Finding happiness in small moments kept him afloat but after the tragic night that changed his life he would never be the same. Lost more than ever he no longer felt the need to stay or hold onto something he didn’t fit into. 

Daisy Martinez’s life changed in the blink of an eye. She killed her parents and now her punishment was living in hell. Her Uncle Alejandro was supposed to love her. Her mother told her he did but she lied. Knowing she can't escape Briggs falls into a world where she can not feel. All pain and no pleasure until a set of blue eyes takes her breath away. Knowing she cannot bring this man she feels she has known all her life into her hell she turns away. 

And the earth shattering story begins …. You will be screaming NO from the first paragraph on the first page. A love so toxic that it breaks you … it makes your soul thrash in agony. There were so many times I couldn’t breathe during this story. I fell to my knees and wanted it to stop; hugging the kindle trying to take Briggs and Austin’s pain away from them. The pieces of the past as tattered and torn as they are mold together for you seamlessly just like Undo Me. 

If there is a looking glass to be shared into the life of an addict and those who suffer along side that lost angel this is it. I broke and I didn’t think that I would be put back together. Although a work of fiction Crave Me is a story that everyone should read. Instead of judging – understand – instead of shaming –reach out your hand over and over no matter how long it takes. Don’t enable but don’t give up; the heart is worth it. 

Leaving my wounded body completely worn from emotion I have no choice but to go back and finish the series with the first two books. I have fallen in love with Half Pint, Lucas, Dylan, Aubrey, Jacob and Lily. I also will be grabbing up Alejandro’s story releasing in August. If you need a series to read this summer this is your ONE. Go grab them all up. They are free on Kindle Unlimited.

We have another release in the Saints series. Although I love these men I am finding myself not connecting with the characters as much as I was in the first few releases. I'm not sure if I am wanting the original men back or what but I still am enjoying the reads. 

Monty and Angel are made for each other. They are both honest, don’t play games and each know what they want. Monty is a strong male and Angel knows herself just as well. The characters work great together but I wanted more. Maybe I missed the banter and the hardship between the love interest in the story. What they wanted came so easily. Angel didn’t take anything from Monty’s ex or his over the top Mom. Yes I missed the drama. Who knew?!?!?!

The suspense and the crime centered in this one was more the focus of the story again leaving me wanting some terrible love on and off again with our leads. I did love the fact that we find the men of Saints moving along with their loved ones and we get to visit with them and continue on with their story. 

It could be that Monty was a secondary character in another book and I wasn’t focused as much on him …. Or it could be that I just loved the initial meeting of our guys and can't get past that first release…. . Regardless the book is another win for the most part in the series. Maryann has lead us down a good series!

Amy's 3.5 star ARC Review of Sordid by Nikki Sloane

It took me years to find the courage to speak to Luka. He seemed exactly like me. Intelligent. Focused. Serious. 

But he’s not the man I imagined. 

His reality is cruel and dark. He traps me in his web, his power twisting tighter the more I struggle, until it’s hopeless. I can’t break free. 

As he drags me unwillingly into his filthy world, I can’t ignore the terrifying idea circling my mind. What if I belong here with him?

I will be very honest with you that I am having a difficult time reviewing this book. I really loved the characters and the outline of the book; boy and girl know each other and have had eyes on each other unknowingly but it's the way the girl was brought into the situation with the boy. I can't say because it would give everything away that the story is centered around.

What I can tell you is that if you have triggers of extreme violence against women then absolutely do NOT click this book up. Its very dark.

Like I said I have very mixed emotions over this one. The story is well written in that there is depth. I did like the characters as I do like the whole brutal love thing for lack of a better word but just not this way. I also believe we might be seeing more from a secondary character potentially. I'm not sure what Nikki has planned for those that remain on the pages.

Luka and Addison have a very fierce love affair .. damaging. The work Stockholm Syndrome comes to mind in big bold letters. I rated this book 3.5 stars because Nikki Sloane is a talented author and I will continue to read the stories she puts out. However this story just wasn't for me. If you enjoy her writing style then of course you will love this one! Happy reading!
