Amy's 5 stars – can I have more to give? Review of LEV by Belle Aurora

From the moment Lev Leokov spots the young woman hiding behind her hair in the middle of the gentleman's club, he can't take his eyes off of her.
For the very first time in his life, he is affected. Having been told his entire life that he can't process or understand emotion, he considers it a big deal.

When Mina Harris gets caught red-handed with a wallet that isn't hers, she falls apart. She's tired, lonely and hasn't eaten in days.

Lev offers her an ultimatum... A nice warm bed, a hot meal and a job, or the cops.

Mina takes her chances with Lev. 
After all, a person with nothing has nothing left to lose.

5 stars – can I have more to give? 

First of all … just F**k the review just go click the book. Twitch has been replaced in my heart. Who would have ever thought it would be possible? I have never read anything like this but of course I had never read anything like Twitch either. Everything Bella touches turns to immediate gold. Im going to do my best here to do this story justice but Im certain that I cant. Here goes nothing …. 

Lev … if you can get past the cover then that’s your first step. Lev Leokov cannot process emotion or understand emotion. He doesn’t know how to react to people but yet he watches. He is NOT broken although he would appear to be to the average eye. It slays me that people feel others are wrecked because they don’t function as you do. Lev in fact is one of the most magnificent and mesmerizing characters I have had the privilege to share time with. Lev is his brother Sasha’s enforcer. He handles the problems that arise for the family and because he watches and enforces he spots a frail looking almost magical girl in a dark corner of the bar. As he watches, he sees her take his brothers wallet out of his jacket. Shocking her, he realizes she is not only a tiny creature but she only took one of the seven bills she could have and intended on leaving the rest. A odd feeling passes just for moment through Lev and being who he is, reaches to help her. 

Mina Clarabell Harris has been on the streets for seven years. At twenty four she is now at the brink of starvation and so desperate she believes she will do anything to put food in her. She has to in order to survive. Mina is at her end. The stranger standing in front of her is not threatening to say the least even after asking her with one simple word to “explain.” Being honest she tells Lev why. Taking his offer, knowing this was her only option she agrees to work for Lev at Bleeding Hearts Gentleman’s Club; Lev’s club. 

I don’t want to say much more here because as I said I cannot do the story justice. On these pages lies a story that burst from the pages straight into your soul. My entire self consumed and held onto the changes in Lev and the magnificent man he is. I know Im focusing on him the most but Bella has made me desperate to go find him. She has written a character that became so real to me that I want to put my eyes on him and just watch his every move. It would be nothing short of heaven and not because of the physical aspects … crazy isn’t it? Please Bella don’t stop here. Give us more … give me more. Leaving me here twice, in this state of mind, surely would destroy me. 

The entire cast in this book is phenomenal. Lev’s siblings Sasha and Nastasia are brilliantly written along with their friends Viktor and Anika who are also brother and sister. Wait until you meet Lidiya. Corinna Alkaev is a key player who you will hate and then love. And I am waiting because there is a story in the making with a man named Alessio along with his father Laredo. Laredo’s boys include a whole mess of men starting with Philippe Neige, Nicolas Van Eden, Roman Vlasic, Davi Lobo. 

I have named them all in order to let Bella know that I wont settle for less than a story about each character. She isn’t getting away with one book! NO WAY! Not this time. Don't kid yourself because we all know Raw had a #1 behind it as well. I will beg, borrow, steal and do whatever it takes to see Lev again along with his family and friends. Don't make me go there Bella ... YOU ARE BRILLIANT. Review to post on Ramblings From Beneath The Sheets.
