Amy's Review of Bad Impressions by Franca Storm

She’s the one girl he never should’ve touched. And the one girl he’s never been able to forget…

Having escaped a bad situation with an obsessive ex, Sophie Clinton is relieved when she returns to the safety of her hometown to lick her wounds. Until she runs into Brad, the man who took her virginity and broke her heart. The last thing she wants is to deal with him and all the drama of their past. But her older brother’s best friend isn’t easy to resist—or to avoid, in their tiny town.

When his best friend’s little sister returns to town, Brad Marsh knows he should keep his distance this time around. A year ago he crossed a major line with her. He’s been unable to shake the guilt of their drunken, misguided night of passion. He’s not about to make that same mistake again. But the fiery, all-consuming pull between them is stronger than ever. It might not be that easy for him to keep his hands off her.

3.5 stars

Not a bad book and it is a quick read but it just wasn’t my favorite. Now you all know I tell you that doesn’t mean you wont love it. Sophie returns to her hometown after a bad breakup with an abusive and obsessed ex lover. She is trying to get herself back together all while avoiding Brad, her brother’s best friend. The town is tiny and eventually he will know she is back. Sophie hopes Brad wants to avoid her just as much as she does him.

Brad Marsh cannot forget the one woman he was never to touch but did. He knows she is back but he needs to stay away. He took her virginity and didn’t look back or so she thought. The night was a mistake. They were drunk so why does he want more when he shouldn’t. Why is he fighting and what exactly is it that he is fighting?

Brad is the type of character that I would throat punch and not feel bad about. Possibly Sophie as well. This poor girl needs to cut her loses and move on. However that would make the story very less interesting. Take a peek at this one and see what you think. Click it up.
