Tessa has finally gotten out. Coming back to Matt or "Brick" as they call him here at the MC was her only choice but her best choice. He was her best friend forever until she got pulled into her darkness. Living on the streets together he was her light -- the brother and protector she needed. They won't find her here but she also won't share any stories about herself. The man trying to get into her head needs to leave her alone. If only things were that simple.
Trigger was raised by a man worse than the devil. His mother left and by age ten he was underground fighting to stay alive. The beatings his father gave him were nothing compared to the men he fought. He is a monster and that monster now leads an MC. He takes no sympathy, no feeling and no remorse for the killing he does. The woman his VP brought into his club needs to know if she crosses him she could be next -- she is in his head though -- and that is a scary place to be.
With two rivals clubs knocking down their door and one in particular setting their sights on Tessa, Trigger needs to watch her back at all times. Putting her in danger is not an option which is new to him. When all hell breaks lose the person to suffer might never return from the damage as they are sent straight back into a worse hell than ever before.
There are some excellent secondary characters like Brick and Minnie -- LOVE THEM. There are also some evil doers as well and they will for sure peak your interest. There is a cliffhanger AND two huge eye openers near the end ... there are ZERO questions answered about numerous characters and you are left completing hanging on all accounts. DANG IT!
This is not your average alpha man MC who cherishes the woman he is with or is the sole protector with all his heart. This one is a true down and dirty 1% law breaking club. So having said that if you cannot stand some depiction of torture and also flashbacks of abuse then this one is not for you. If you are ok then for sure click this series up -- book one is a hot mess in a great way.
