This was written through Brooke's POV and we pick up right after we left off in the first book~ Real.
This will be a tough review for me because I don't want to give away spoilers......
The two of them are just as raw, passionate, hungry for one another, possessive and in love as they were in the first book. You can feel their emotions! Katy is one hell of a writer let me just tell you that. She had my emotions on over drive. Within the first few pages, my heart was fluttering, my girly parts were smiling and I felt like I was right there.... along side the Ring.....like Remy was f*cking me with his eyes!
This series is Addictive! If you read and fell in love with Remy in Real....you will Love him just as much if not more in Mine! He is a LION and on the prowl all the time.....looking for his LIONESS! I think Remy may have just jumped up to my number one book boyfriend and I had two that were fighting for that spot already!
Remy is a walking sex god! He is a HOT as HELL ALPHA male FIGHTER. Yet, he can be the sweetest man ever. There were so many parts of this book that I was swooning over him .... it's not even funny. He can "scent" me any day....
Scorpion is back and Remy is ready to go back in and take him down. After giving up his title in the last book to save Brooke's sister. This time...Remy is not taking any prisoners! He is in it to win it ALL!
Scropion is evil and out for revenge. He causes a little bit of trouble in the beginning and that pushes Remy over the edge with hatred towards this man.
We have to deal with Brooke being emotional and very jealous. We have to deal with her hating herself for leaving Remy and putting him in his Dark Place again in book one. She blames herself for a lot of things that happened when she left him.
There is an incident and it causes Brooke to have to go home and be away from Remy for a few months and that causes some more jealousy and more sexual tension between them.
We deal with a deeper side of Remy this time around. Especially when it comes to his bipolar illness.
I cried...yes I actually sat here and shed some tears during a few moments. It was very emotional for me to read some parts. But then Katy would turn it around and I'd be happy again. Do we get the HEA we were after for the two of them? Hmmmmm........ let me just say that I was happy with the way this one ended =) I can't wait to read their story through Remy's POV!
