Amy's 3.5 star ARC Review of PUSH: Ultra Alpha MMA Badboy Mafia Romance by Dani Wyatt

A fighter without mercy.
A girl without hope.

The only thing that makes Flynn Dunleavy feel alive is the taste of his own blood. He’s the tattooed bastard son of Detroit’s most ruthless crime leader and he only knows three things for sure.
How to hit, how to hate and how to make women scream his name.
Until she shows up.

Lilly is the asset. The brain. The beautiful naive pawn in a high stakes game of family tradition, loyalty and intimidation, And Flynn’s father Colin Dunleavy is her fiancé.

The day she tumbles into his world, Flynn stands by as his father greets her with a bloody lip and an indifferent smile. And for the first time in his life Flynn feels something. A thump in his chest, a twitch in his heart. That day, she became his obsession.
His salvation.
His ruin.
Why is the one person that could save him the one person he can never have?

This is one fight he cannot lose.

HOT. HEARTBREAKING. INSPIRING.

Blazing hot, stand alone romance with a HEA and an ultra Alpha Dominant hero. Part of the MMA Southside Brotherhood series, 'PUSH" completely stands on it's own without the need to read the other books in this series. Some content intended for mature readers.

The beginning of PUSH left me a little confused but very intrigued. I wasn’t sure about the players and what was going on. It took me a bit but I kept turning the pages and everything became clear. The story is a bit drawn out in points but its not bad. I wish I would have felt more drawn to these characters because I love everything about MMA fighter stories, mafia, and scorn love but I just couldn’t completely consume myself in the story line.

Lilly is living in hell. She is being held like a prisoner forced to live a lie. She is to be married to Colin Dunleavy, Detroit’s leading crime lord. Her marriage has been arranged and she thought he would be a perfect husband and gentleman but she was so wrong. Colin has led her into a darkness that she cannot claw her way out of. Colin is wants to hold all the cards and Lilly is his ticket to having just that. In exchange for her brilliance Colin has agreed to bring Lilly’s mother to the states to care for her. Lilly is desperate to do whatever it takes to save her mom including giving up her own life.

Flynn is Colin’s son. The son is raised as if he were nothing. He uses him for his fighting skills but being a father, not going to happen. Flynn is a bastard son. Flynn has never seen a more beautiful woman than Lilly. He knows she is off limits. Touching her and wanting her will get him killed; killed by his own father.

Not a bad read and no cliffhanger. Give it a whirl and let me know what you think! Review was provided provide after receiving an ARC from Dani. Thank you! Review will post to Ramblings From Beneath The Sheets.
