Amy's 4.5 star ARC Review of Where You Can Find Me by Fiona Cole

Luella King has experienced loss all her life. After losing her parents and the most important person in her life, she hesitates to open up to anyone and instead plays it safe. One night, she throws caution to the wind and gives into her desires with a sexy stranger.

Fearing her sudden and unexpected loss of control, Luella runs away from him. A chance second encounter pushes her to open her eyes and give the stranger a chance.

There’s something about Jack MacCabe that makes her feel safe enough to lower her guard. Despite how busy he is with his job as a security specialist, they continue to spend more time together and with each date and late night message she finds herself falling in love.

When a serial killer wreaks havoc on their city, Jack's dangerously close proximity to the case reignites Luella's fears of losing someone important to her. Surrendering her fears in order to keep Jack by her side challenges Luella to her limits, while Jack is under pressure to catch the serial killer before it's too late.

As Jack and Luella draw closer to one another, the killer closes in on their next victim. Soon Jack and Luella find themselves entrenched in a mystery they never saw coming.

Wow .. Fiona Cole has written a well thought out story of murder and sexy time all wrapped up into a nice package. The characters are solid in this one and there is edge of your seat events that will have you reading as fast as you can to find out what happens next.

Luella has lost more than one person should as everyone continues to leave her life. She has closed the door to letting anyone else in knowing they will just do the same. No more hurt, no more pain ... that's her go to for the next 100 years it would seem ... until Jack changes her mind.

Jack is a hero's hero .. a man's man. He is the ultimate good guy with all the right stuff in all the right places. He is going to protect what's his and what matters to him with all that he has. Jack finds those that hurt others ... makes them suffer ... murder is something that is in his life and he can't bring anyone into that world and take the chance that they might get hurt or worse.

Jack and Luella are both doing something they said they wouldn't do .. and unknown to them ... lurking in the dark is a killer who could seal the deal on what they both fear the most.

There is so much happening on these pages and you find yourself not wanting to turn the page because you are deathly afraid to and I LOVE IT! You get small insights as to what might be happening but then BOOM ... yeah ... holy crack on a cracker. The romance between the two characters flows perfectly and doesn't hinder the dark side of the book. Everything is written perfectly. Great read Fiona! (The 4.5 stars comes from one character Eve who grated on my nerves -- I'M SORRY!)

I received this book as an ARC and am happy that Fiona gave me the chance to review. This review will post to Ramblings From Beneath The Sheets. Thank you again Fiona! Super job
