Amy's 3.5 star ARC Review of Inevitable by A.S. Roberts

Dirty talking, tattooed Nathan Blackmore has it all, at least that's what he wants everyone to believe. Six months ago the only woman he has ever loved walked out of his life. This super bike rider vowed never to look back and never to give his love again. Nathan's self destruct button was pressed.

But that was then and this is now.

When Nathan and Bella Carpenter come face to face all the old feelings resurface. Bella, an investigative journalist, has a secret. A secret that has come back to haunt her, she needs to disappear, and disappear quickly. With her life possibly in danger the only person she can trust, no longer trusts her.

He wants the truth.
She is determined to keep her secret.
But what they both feel makes their passion inevitable.

I was not aware this was a second in a series when I was reading it so having said that you don’t need to read the first book. On the flip side I always love to know my characters and was wondering how all of the things had transpired but just figured maybe the author was going to do a back story or the story of the other secondary characters were yet to come. However if you want to read the books in order please grab up Fated and get Alex and Frankie’s story before reading Bella and Nate.
This is a second chance love story. Bella is dealing with her past and thinks all is good to go. Leaving a love to not bring harm to him and his family she believes all is well. Little does she know that the storm is about to hit and hit hard.
Nate is back riding and quickly lays his claim back on Bella after some push and shove when things start to get hairy. There is suspense and drama but I just am not a huge fan of this genre. The characters kind of fell flat for me as well. Please go click it up for yourself if the hard edge adrenaline alpha male is your go to. You probably will love it and want to grab up the first. Thank you for the ARC and chance to read. Review to post to Ramblings From Beneath The Sheets.
