First I must say.... what took me so long to read this book? It was BEAUTIFUL! Both characters were so likable and lovable. Both with some emotional baggage. Both needing to be "Not Alone".

I truly felt like I was Emmalynne. Like I was sucked into the book and that was me. She was REAL! I loved the fact that the author (Amber) made this character not our size 0 whiny ass spoiled brat I need a rich man character. Don't get me wrong, I love those too. This time though, Emmalynne was just like any average not a size 0, mother trying to make a living to support her child. And she wrote her character beautifully!

Then we have Grady.... Mr. Hotness.... walking sex on a stick! Ex Military. He takes one look at Emmalynne and finds her to be the most beautiful and perfect woman he's ever seen. He wants to change nothing about her. He shows her that she is worthy of finding love and her HEA.

Takes her a bit to open up to him and let him into her life. She doesn't feel like she is worthy of his love. They have a few ups and downs during their relationship.....and yet....in the end it's worth it.

There are plenty of moments that make you smile and make you laugh. She has great supportive friends.

Amber touches on so many things in this story that are true life stuff. And that is why I fell in love with this story. She took things that some wouldn't want to write about and she did. Making her characters believable and true to everyday life is what I loved about this story. This is not your wham bam thank you mam kind of love story..... I can't say it enough that this is just a beautiful and sweet love story....two souls that are damaged....finding their way to each other.....dealing with real life stuff and issues....and in the end.....being "Not Alone" .
