Amy's 4.5 star ARC Review of Liar Liar by Kasey Millstead

. . . Liar, Liar

Makenna Banks is a 28-year-old, independent, professional woman who spends her days seeking the truth for her clients. She is tenacious and fuelled by events in her past, determined to bring hidden secrets into the light.

. . . Pants On Fire

Thrust into a life he didn’t imagine for himself, but unable to escape it, Benny Duncan immerses himself in his job to avoid his home life. With his future mapped out for him from birth by a pair of controlling parents, more concerned about their social stature, than the happiness of their only son, he always knew he was destined for this life. It doesn’t mean he likes it, though.

. . . Nose As Long

In her search for the truth, Makenna has to put herself in sometimes-dangerous positions, going above and beyond for her clients. But what happens when a situation is not all it seems? What happens when love is thrown into the mix?

. . . As A Telephone Wire.

To do her job properly, Makenna has to get involved, but not too involved. It’s a fine line that she has managed to never cross. Until now. Until him. Benny Duncan will turn her inside out, changing the world as she knows it. She maybe powerful in all other aspects of her life, but Makenna is powerless against the biggest factor of all; true love.

Liar, Liar is the brand new, suspense-filled, standalone romance from USA Today Bestselling Author, Kasey Millstead

Makenna Banks is 28 years old, independent, a professional investigator along side her best friend Matthew; making her money finding the truth for the people who chose to employ her. Fueled by her past, what Makenna looks for is liar; iars of a different kind; liars of the heart.

Benny Duncan does nothing but go to the gym, go to work, and back to the gym. Home is somewhere that a person should feel loved. It’s a place where a man should not wait to go. Benny’s life was chosen for him. His life was orchestrated by his parents who were more concerned about their status in social circles than their son finding happiness. Pushed into a marriage he never wanted to a woman who is a nasty bitch, he puts all his energy into pushing his business to the number one spot.

Regina wants out and the only way to make Benny pay an additional couple million dollars to her in the divorce she has to prove her so called husband is cheating. The problem is he hasn’t cheated and wont cheat. Regina Duncan wants to make sure she has an iron clad case against her husband in order to obtain that money she so deserves. Two million isn’t enough .. she needs four. Circles talk, and her circle says Makenna Banks is the best. If anyone can seal the deal for her its this “Banks woman.” .

Can Makenna turn a man into a liar or will her conscience lead her otherwise. Thus far she hasn’t been able to turn Benny Duncan’s head. How far will she go and at what cost? In truth, is Makenna the true liar…..

This book was intriguing. I have read a few of the same genre recently but nothing to the tune of making a man who doesn’t have wondering eyes wonder … what a fabulous storyline. Heartbreaking as it sounds turning a man into a cheater its for the best. His wife is a brutal witch! OMGOSH! I love the way the characters evolved. This is a good one. Click it up!

Thank you Kasey for the ARC. I love reading new authors and look forward for the next release! There is no cliffhanger friends. Read on! Review to post to Ramblings From Beneath The Sheets.
