This is book 4 in a series that I have not read any of books. That bums me out as you all know! I wish I had gotten to read the previous books before this one.
CJ Carmichael aka – Juice -- and Tara are enjoying each other’s company for a weekend. Being a part of a secret OP Team he isn’t one to like same old same old yet this girl is staying with him for some reason. The only thing to do is “get her out of his system” and what better way to do that then but to proposition her. Well Mr. Carmichael gets himself more than he bargains for. He has no idea how this happened as razzing his boys for being at their girls beckon call is something he never intended on being a part of.
Tara wants a no strings attached kind of deal and she had fun with CJ. Maybe this “deal” is not good for her or maybe she can just have this type of relationship. Her secrets need to be kept. It’s the only way to remain strong. Showing struggles isn’t something she needs to do but when her secrets come out CJ …… well lets just say they are kind of like a freight train hitting a brick wall …..
We did get some of Kayne and Jett in this story which I was very happy about but it made we want to go back and grab up the others. Its seems like I have missed a lot. This is more than a cute little love story this is a heck of a ride.
