Can the sight from rock bottom be sweeter than the view from the top?
Rock bottom…
Some would say Benjamin O’Brien has finally reached it. When you’ve ruined your life and brought your loved ones to their knees in the process, you would assume you couldn’t fall any further.
Lacey Marquis is done. Broken. Shattered. Ruined. Deserted by the man she thought was the love of her life, she’s reached her breaking point.
It takes a lot to make the Black Shamrocks MC abandon their family, yet Benji has almost managed it. When the Club discovers Lacey’s involvement in his deception, they’re both given one final chance to make amends.
When two fragile souls find each other in the midst of chaos, is it possible for them to be the strength the other needs? Or will their individual demons prevent the other from SEEKING REDEMPTION?

Seeking Redemption (Black Shamrocks #3)

SOOOOO .. I have to admit I was on the fence on with this series but Kylie hit this one out of the park. Im so happy I stayed in.
Benji and Lacey … wow. These two are two freight trains colliding and plummeting each other into hell.
Benji is the son of the former President of the Black Shamrocks. He has become everything his father wanted. Benji has the football career, the scholarship and the way out of the club life. He is the chosen one according to everyone who sees him on the outside. On the inside he has a problem; a serious one; a one that involves drugs and whatever it takes to get them. Beast always wanted more for his son. An injury and his addiction lead to destroying him. The club never turns their back on family but Benji has used up all his chances … he has one more and he better get it right.
Lacey is the a shattered woman. The man she loved did nothing but betray her and the club. Maddi couldn’t help her. The love of her life abused her, used her and everything they had was a lie.
Pulling Benji down with her or Benji pulling her down with him .. who knows who took whose hand and brought them further into the depths of hell. Spiraling out of control getting clean and staying with your head above water is something that won't come easy. The easier choice would be to just drown and put yourself out of your misery. But maybe there is hope .. the question is how do you get there.
There is so much on these pages. What was apparent is the message that is being sent to us through these two tragic characters. Drug abuse is life shattering. The words I'm quitting or I'm cutting back and I can stay clean are just that .. words. Getting clean and staying there is an entire different story. An abuser will tell you whatever you want to hear to cover their use and their lies. Don't give up and don't walk away. You may be their last hope.
I was happy to see and hear from previous characters which made me appreciate them more. There are still stories to be told and if they are as great as this one, we are in for a treat. Thank you Kylie for the ARC! I really loved this release. Review to post to Ramblings From Beneath The Sheets.
