Amy's 5 star review of Making The Cut (Selected Sinners MC) By Scott Hildreth

Synopsis

Determined to remove herself from the rules regulations of her overbearing religious parents, Avery escapes to college and is determined to make it on her own. Working as a bartender, and mere weeks before her college graduation, she finds herself face to face with thirty members of an Outlaw Motorcycle Club

She had no idea when the President of the club walked in she’d go weak in the knees for the gorgeous tattooed biker.

Axton (aka Slice) is the President of the Selected Sinners MC. At the onset of a huge gun deal with a notorious prison gang, he has no time or desire to have a woman in his life. Abused by his Hell’s Angel father as a child, and wronged by every woman in his past, Axton has one devotion - the MC.

After finding out he needs Avery’s Criminal Justice education and her linguistic skills to assist in making the gun deal a success, Axton reluctantly approaches her to act as his interpreter.

Hoping to win Axton over, Avery attempts to turn off her smart mouth, turn on her charm, and become his woman of interest; even if it means sacrificing a level of independence she’s grown accustomed to.

But when the gun deal goes to hell in an hand basket, both Avery and Axton are left wondering what their next move may be.

*NOTE TO READERS* Making the Cut is a stand-alone love story. It does have graphic violence, explicit language, sexual situations, and the intricacies of being in an Outlaw Motorcycle Club depicted. All sexual partners in this MC Erotic Romance are over the age of 18. Stand alone love story. HEA. No cliff hanger. Making the Cut is Book III in a series of stand alone Erotic Romance MC novels.

5 stars
Scott’s poetic way of writing is present and clear in his Selected Sinners series. I had not read any of the books as of three days ago for no other reason than I was swamped with other things to read and review. Making The Cut was a great read for me. I love the first book in any series as it leads us into temptation and introduces us to the majority of the characters we will be spending the next several months or even year with waiting for the next characters personal story. Scott definitely knows how to keep me interested as his characters are down to earth and realistic. Not only does he connect us to the events but I am a sucker for a military guy and of course just as in “Un” boxer series he has given me another man to swoon over with the Selected Sinners. Making The Cut introduces us to Axton; the president of the Selected Sinners MC. Axton’s life has been riddled with hate. The few women in his life were worthless and his father brutally abused him leaving scars that would never be unseen. Axton will never take an old lady -- the club will always be his family. Avery is a snarky, smart mouth, 22 year old college senior about to graduate. She's almost 6 foot tall and skinny as a rail. She's looking for a bad boy who will challenge her. She is smart, brutally honest and can hold her own. When the Sinners walk into her bar she vows to play her cards just right and see if it will lead to sitting on the back of the Presidents bike. Making The Cut is a great book. You will meet Otis, Biscuit, Sloan, Corn Dog and … Toad. Swoon. Pete, Stacey, Fancy are some other members that are mentioned and Im sure more will follow in the next round of releases. Anxious to dig in; Book 2 here I come … and its going to be a good one .. it’s Toad’s story. Oh yes ….
