Review - 3.5 stars This book was included in the Summer Fire Boxed Set that released in May. Summer Storm is the intro to Maverick's series, Satan's Fury MC. Mavericks story is next out. For those of you that are fans you remember we met Maverick through her Devil Chasers MC series. Summer Storm is Kane "Guardrail" Blackwood, Satan Fury's VP, and Allison Parker's story. Allie, a child of the foster system and employee of the Department of Children's Services, dreams of a place where kids can congregate safely and make something of themselves not feeling different or left out. Her brother and she were separated when they went into the system. Her foster family was kind and loving. Her brother didn’t have the same fate. He finds trouble and it seems he has gotten into the worst of it this go around. This project for Allie, both professionally and personally means the word to her. Neil has trusted her to take control and make a name for herself and his company. He gave her full control. Hopefully flirting via email with the contractor who has the lead bid wont derail her plans and focus. Kane’s MC has opened SF Construction. It was a perfect way to hide illegal business behind a legitimate one. The construction company has taken off though as well making a name for itself. The quality of the work has people lining up to hire them. If they can land this deal with Allie their name will be everywhere. Emailing her and getting attached was not part of the deal. Finding her brother Tony was. It’s the sole reason Kane contacted her asking to place a bid. Tony stole from his club and he has to pay. What does that mean for Allie and Kane? When she finds out the truth will everything explode in Kane’s face? This is a fast paced story with a plot that is crazy but good. I will be watching this series to see how it develops. Worth the click.
