Amy's 3.5 star ARC Review Engage (The Disciples' Daughters #3) by Drew Elyse

Once a Disciple, forever a Disciple.

They came for her in the night.
When she wakes, she’s in a cell.
She has no idea if it will help, but it is the only option she has:
She tells them she belongs to the Savage Disciples MC.

A Disciple will fight like a savage when it counts.

Years ago, he lost everything.
Now, the club is the only thing Jager allows himself to care about.
Nothing matters but his Savage Disciple brothers.
At least, until she arrives and he has a decision to make.

This biker has no idea what choosing to engage could mean to a Disciple's daughter.

3. 5 stars

So this is book three in a series of standalones yet I don’t feel like I knew enough background to fully enjoy this book. There were numerous characters that I had no idea where they came from or what their back stories were. Having said that its not a bad book Im just one of those that wants the entire backdrop before I move forward.

Ember has been kidnapped in the middle of the night. After she is taken she convinces her captures that the Disciples MC will pay top dollar for her. The men not wanting to tangle with an MC bring Ember to the club and sell her back for a hefty price. Her plan must have worked when Ember wakes up at the clubhouse not knowing how she got there.

Jager has no idea who the woman is that the men brought to him. They claim she told them the MC would pay top dollar for her. Not knowing who she belongs to he pays the price. Finding out Ember is the daughter of one of the Founders, he starts playing babysitter for the girl. Trying to keep his feelings at bay he dives into a world of unknown vowing to find out who took her. There is also lots of skeletons hiding in this man's closet. He has a past that drives him to close the world out.

This book holds suspense and lots of twist and turns. However again I didn’t read the first two books so I felt a little lost at who folks were. If you are reading this series I'm sure you will love it as the characters are a mystery and well written.

Thank you for the ARC Drew. Review to post to Ramblings From Beneath The Sheets.
