Amy's 5 star ARC Review of Harley & Rose by Carmen Jenner

Ever since she was a little girl, thirty-year-old Rose dreamed of the day Harley would carry her across the threshold on their honeymoon. So what if this isn’t her actual wedding day, and that she’s only here because Harley was left at the altar just a few hours earlier?
Trading San Francisco for paradise and swapping her bridesmaid’s bouquet for a Blue Hawaii, Rose hopes she can finally escape the friend zone.
Once upon a time they had been more than friends, but life got in the way. She’s spent every day since wishing Harley would get a clue.
She’s always been his best friend.
He’s always been hers.
She’s in love with him.
He’s … not in love with her.
He’s … marrying someone else.
He’s … hiding something.
He’s … well—it’s complicated.

5 stars

The girl that dreams of marrying a certain man. A man that has been her best friend for as long as she can remember. Rose dreams of her life with Harley. Consoling him on his wedding day was not in those dreams. Him marrying someone else was never the end to her story. Left at the altar Rose now is trying her best to heal Harley’s hurt. He was her first kiss .. he was her first everything. Things get complicated more so than they were before.

This story is so true on so many levels for so many people. You talk about realistic. Harley and Rose are so well written that I bet you could pick out some of your friends that could play these parts to a tea. Harley is a love hate character and Rose is someone who you wish could see things for what they are. She is searching for herself and not trying to get lost in a man that owns her heart yet she is full of sass and not easily broken if that makes any sense at all – Im sure it doesn't.

The pages of this book are filled with tears, anger, laughter and more tissue nose blowing moments than one box can hold – so get two. Get ready to take a journey that maybe you yourself have taken – maybe you are on that journey now. This is one to click up and hold onto. Spread it around to your friends. Absolute perfection.

I love the cover -- the colors are eye catching and beautiful along with the title taking control. The image is exactly on point. Magnificent choice.

Thank you Carmen for the ARC! I don’t know that I will ever be the same after reading this book – you wanted emotion – you got it from me that is for sure. Review to post to Ramblings From Beneath The Sheets.
