Amy's 5 star ARC Review of No Way In Hell: A Steel Corps/Trident Security Crossover Book 1 & 2 by Samantha Cole and J.B. Havens

No Way in Hell is a novel separated into 2 novellas. Reading Book 1 is necessary for Book 2.

Steel Corps—an elite, covert U.S. military team led by Staff Sergeant Bea ‘Mic’ Michaels, based out of a secure location in Pennsylvania.

Trident Security—a private security agency located in Tampa, Florida, comprised of retired Navy SEALs.

T. Carter—U.S. spy and assassin.

What do they have in common? They all do Uncle Sam’s dirty work.

How did they get started and how did their paths cross? Find out as they prepare to join forces to take down a domestic terrorist organization with one goal in mind—to destroy what these men and one woman will fight to the death to protect—life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

No Way in Hell is a two-part crossover novel uniting J.B. Haven’s Steel Corps Series and Samantha A. Cole’s Trident Security Series. While reading both series is not necessary prior to reading No Way in Hell, it is recommended for optimum enjoyment.

No Way In Hell: A Steel Corps/Trident Security Crossover Book 1 & 2
Samantha Cole and J.B. Havens

10 stars … ( That’s 5 each friends or give them both all 10 .. just read the books)

So it's no secret that I love all of Samantha Cole’s books – we all know Im a huge fan – I could not wait to get my hands on this two book series.

I was thrilled to get a look back into T. Carter’s childhood. As tainted as it was I understood now what continue to drives Carter to be the person that he is. No one should fear him except for the person or persons he is gunning for. Loyal to the end and always there in the shadows if you have this man’s loyalty you are one lucky gem. The blonde locks – the eminent charm – of a deadly U.S. spy and assassin … gives me goose bumps.

Bea Michaels who turns into Sergeant Bea “Mic” Michaels is not a stranger to a dark past. Thank goodness for her Aunt who loved her and took her in from her abusive father. When her mother died he changed according to her. He was lost and Bea became the person who killed her instead of the daughter he should have loved and treasured. Surviving then and surviving now, Bea is pulled into an elite covert U.S. military team. Only knowing Carter by a number and vice versa the two are about to cross paths in one of the most crucial missions of their lives.

The Trident men are also kicking ass and taking names. You could not give me enough of the backstory of the boys. Not only do we get to see them in action prior to opening the private security agency but we also get one small sentence that made my heart full …. We hear of Jen and her parents when they were still alive.

Mic and her right hand Phillips are off to meet Carter as he has infiltrated the group being brought down. What happens next is not rainbows and lollipops …. It's one hard core mission that has its ups and downs; some harder to take than others. Bea has things in her head that need to get straight and Carter can see straight into her thoughts. Being the man he is, Carter steps up to the plate and takes on the toughest woman he has ever met.

Bea – can I be her? I want to be her. Own that life girl …..

I simply LOVED LOVED LOVED these books. Me…. I always want more. I always wish for more. So ladies .. get to writing. Book one ends with somewhat of a cliffy. Nothing too fierce but definitely has you taking a gut check knowing whats about to go down and who is going in. Book two – you are going to lose it.

Why … because …. NEVER did I see Carter in such a light as I do now. If before I thought he was a diamond in a haystack – the man is now the freaking Harry Winston Isadora.

Thank you ladies for honoring me with an ARC. Review to post to Ramblings From Beneath The Sheets
