Amy's 4.5 star review of Harper Sloan's Bleeding Love (Hope Town #2)

Available July 14th  Pre Order Below

Synopsis
**Pre-order special price $2.99 will last until release date before going up to full price.**

I've loved once. I gave everything that I had to that love. Blindly believing that nothing could ever take that feeling away from me. Away from us. And when my little world of happiness was ripped from my fingers, I felt a loss that still haunts me to this day.

Now I use that lingering grief as a shield to keep my heart from loving again. It's that fear that keeps me from letting anyone, except my daughter, get close enough to make it hurt. To make my heart bleed when I inevitably lose again.

Until the day I met Liam Beckett and everything I thought I had protected myself from was shoved back in my face.

He's on a mission to prove to me that a love worth having is a love worth fighting for.

*Bleeding Love is the second book in the Hope Town series. Each book in the series is a HEA and can be read as a standalone.*

Review -
Bleeding Love -- (Hope Town #2) Harper Sloan 4.5 stars I LOVE this series and the series its spun from. Yes call me crazy but there is nothing better than a set of stories based around a group of characters that you absolutely find irresistible and “real.” Real emotions, real situations; characters that you immerse yourself into the moment with them; happiness, sorrow, family gatherings, girls nights out; you name it you can put yourself in that moment. Bleeding Love is the story of Liam Beckett; son of Dee and John Beckett from our treasured Corps Security series. Liam has met his “one.” He has known she was the one the minute Cohen brought her into their lives. (Cohen is the son of Melissa and Greg Gage) Liam knows she feels something after one zealous night during Dani (Izzy and Alex Reid’s daughter) and Cohen’s wedding. He just has to figure out how to break down those walls. Nothing will stop Liam. A love that is worth fighting for is in his blood. He knows what fighting means. His Dad fought against everything his Mom threw up at him. Every struggle, every time she denied the feelings between them his Dad came back for more. Liam Beckett plans on winning this fight and no better person to help him than his best friend Dani Cage. Megan is lost within herself and her memories. Jack was supposed to come back with but he never did. Cohen has tried to help her bringing her into his circle of friends and family. Two years she has been thrown together with these people trying to find her way. Parties, group nights out and whenever Dani felt she was too consumed with work she had no choice but to go. No one would hear of it. For six long months she has been fighting off her attraction to Liam and for one night she let herself go. Megan has to protect Molly though. She will never allow her daughter to feel loss like she has. Molly was only 18 months when Jack was killed. She doesn’t understand pain. Molly loves the Reids, she loves Nate, LeeLee; how is it that Molly; her child can freely give her heart but she can’t. Liam says he will make her see; that she needs to open her eyes and live. But there are darker things in her past that Liam; no one knows about. How can she open herself up again knowing that the people who are desperately trying to make her part of their family don’t even really know the truth. Bleeding Love is a torrential downpour of deep rooted emotions. The journey, the struggle and the fight to open up your heart and soul is so vivid on the pages of this book, it will leave you vulnerable and wrecked. You get a dose of Sway, whom we all adore. Maddi (Emmy and Maddox Locke’s daughter), Nate of course is all over the place driving Dani and his Dad nuts (love it). Stella (Sway and Davey’s daughter) is in the mix, Zac (Chelcie and Asher Cooper’s son) is there with a few other of the kiddos being mentioned. I don’t know who is next for us but you all know I cant wait. I will be counting the months until we see a book about Emberlyn or Maddisyn just so I can have more Maddox Locke. SWOON! Harper Sloan is one of the most talented and brilliant authors. Her gifts to us in the form of these books and these families fill us up with hope, happiness and more bliss than one person should be allowed. If you have not read the Corp Security series I suggest you go and snatch those up because you have missed out. You do not have to know the back story technically to read these books but why would you not want to. I cant even wrap my brain around those thoughts. These books, both series, are the most incredible journeys, the most inspiring stories of the bonds of friendship and family, and how those bonds have the ability of overcoming every single obstacle put in your way. Congrats Ms. Sloan and your fans will be waiting for the next Hope Town addition!

Book one of the series is Unexpected Fate

Synopsis
Have you ever felt like you were living your life for a future that was predetermined? Like there was some bigger picture you just prayed you would someday see clearly? That picture has been crystal clear to me since I was old enough to recognize it for just what it was.

Or I should say recognize him for who he was.

I’ve loved Cohen Cage since I was a small child. He’s been my everything for the last twenty-two years. I’ve loved him through every girlfriend he’s ever brought home. Through his college years and then mine. I’ve loved him through two deployments. And ever since the day I told him how I felt, he’s acted like I’m a stranger.

My name is Danielle Reid, and it’s time for me to get my man.

Our future is an unexpected fate, and no matter what our parents, siblings, and friends say…it’s going to be worth every second of the fight to make it happen.

**This book is a standalone, HEA, with mature themes and sexual situations**
