This can’t be happening. Not to me.
It was supposed to be fun. A spring break trip to Tijuana with my friends. A margarita in each hand while we danced the night away.
Then I saw him in the club. He was too perfect to be true—an impeccably tailored suit, a sculpted body. Ice-blue eyes that seared with desire. I thought everything about him was right. But I was dead wrong.
A gun to my head.
A collar around my neck.
A whisper in my ear telling me to follow orders… OR ELSE.
And the strange look in his eyes that tells me there’s a secret he’s still hiding…
Yes that’s a question mark for the first time ever. Im not sure how to rate this one; maybe it deserves more than 4 and let me tell you why.
This book was exceptional BUT the ending was rushed. When I got to 84% done I was so desperate from what I was reading on the pages I kept reading and looking at that darn percent traveling upwards. I just knew Aubrey was going to leave me hanging on one of the worst yet most delightful cliffhangers EVER. To my surprise there was none. The story ended. I knew where the characters were and what happened. DARN it there could have been so much more. Yet the 4 stars comes from the words that filled the first 96% percent of the book; it was really really good. Those of you that hate cliffhangers will love this. And again, I loved it too but Im telling you I would have picked up book two, three and four to find out what happened.
Jessica is taken. She is the good girl; this shouldn’t be happening, not to her. After being “kidnapped” by her friends to head across the border for Spring Break Jessica is thrown into a nightmare that she may never get out of . The beautiful man that was dancing with her, showing HER she was the one he wanted out of all the girls in the club deceived her. He was perfect .. too perfect she should have known those blue eyes were no good. She was a virgin, inexperience and now she was chained, collar around her neck and was going to be sold AFTER she was trained by this man. Why did she let her friends talk her into this?
Vale, this monster in front of her would break her. She would never be the same. Why is her body betraying her and why does she feel like there is more to what she is seeing. Vale will either be her savior or tear her soul apart.
And now you know why .. .more, more and more; that’s what I wanted. GRRRRR … Vale is ummmm ummmm so good. Like I said this could have had a bigger bang in the end. However would I recommend you dip in .. absolutely. Do I want to know about the others that Vale works with … HELL YES …. Click away friends. This one is FREE with Kindle Unlimited.
