Amy's 4 star ARC Review of Corrupted (Deathstalkers MC) by Alexis Noelle

She is being hunted.
Prey left defenseless.
She needs to hide.
They cannot find her.
They will kill her if they do.
When Lucy decided to run, she didn’t know where to go. They were coming for her. She needed protection, but she had no one to help her. Until she came across the warehouse of the Deathstalkers MC and begged them for protection. Now she owes them her life and her loyalty. Her family will never end their search for her; she is a piece of property that needs to be recovered at any cost necessary. For Lucy, there are worse things than needing to hide for the rest of her life, being found is one of those things.
Sometimes the obvious evils aren’t the ones you need to fear.

Lucy runs … she runs from one of the most horrific places that is supposed to be her home. She runs from her Father and her Uncle .. she runs into what she hopes is freedom. The abandoned warehouse is her only safe haven. She is 14 and alone .. she is hurt and she has no money … no clothes and no where to go. Surviving is going to be impossible.

Jordan cannot believe his eyes. The frail girl he sets his eyes on is beautiful but she is haunted. Her eyes have a story. She looks broken and defeated but most of all deathly afraid. Begging him to take her with him to the Deathstalkers MC is a uncertainty in itself. If she is willing to go with him to the unknown then what in the hell worse is she running from?

That’s all Im saying friends. This was a brutal read in the beginning. I loved seeing Lucy come into herself but I also felt like the initial feelings she had towards Jordan growing up as she did were a little immediate. Not that I have any idea but as a reader I would have envisioned more of a period of confusion maybe? This isn’t a deal breaker for me though in this read. The pages are filled with the most tragic events you can imagine one lost young girl surviving. Lucy’s story wounded my heart and then .. it got worse. I was NOT a happy camper with Jordan to say the least but also NOT a happy camper at times with Lucy. I can see how things became unclear for her in a particular situation but darn it! And wow does Lucy evolve. I was more taken with Lucy than I was Jordan which is a epic event in itself. Jordan was great .. don’t get me wrong but Lucy’s story is just memorizing and jaw dropping.

What a great series this is going to be. There are numerous secondary characters that you are going to wonder about and BOOM yes .. we are getting Twisted’s story next: Heinous! I cant wait! Love that man!

Thank you Alexis for the ARC! You continue to bring us fantastic reads. This one was whoahhhh! From the first page I was glued. Bring on the next brother!

Review to post to Ramblings From Beneath The Sheets.
