Review 

Driven by Destiny is the second book in this series by Ms. Carter. You need to read Flirting with Destiny prior to one clicking book 2. Lauren Mitchell has a tornadic relationship with her ex. Chip Harrison is controlling, abusive and brutal. Chip will stop at nothing to ruin Lauren and Aedyn if needed. Book 2 begins with Aedyn spending a night in jail after coming to defend Laurens honor. Feeling used once again, he vows this was and will be the last time Lauren runs from him and makes him feel like a fool. Jules, Laurens best friend adds light entertainment off setting the monstrous situations Lauren has to continually endure with Chip. Im not so certain about Jules and her intentions throughout this book but only time will tell. Aedyn heads back home leaving any trace of Laurens memory behind. She betrayed his trust and his love for her. Quickly he dives back into his old habits trying to suppress the memories of the woman that has broken him more than once. There are numerous harsh moments in this book and lots of twists and turns. Lauren takes one last beating that leaves her hospitalized. Fleeing again hoping Aedyn will take her back she finds the opposite. Will she win Aedyn back, why is Jules stepping in and doing the things she is doing and how will she finally be released from the strong arm of Chip? This is a good one ladies but if you don’t like waiting move on -- the next installment wont be released until June. One click them all at one time or take your chances on being left in book hangover turmoil!
