I won't lie.... this one Hurt to read. I hated seeing the pain that Trinity and Wrath put each other through over the years. Their story is complicated! It's gritty, raw, emotional and heart breaking. Putting into words exactly how I felt is hard without giving away too many details. This was just WOW.
Wrath is so cocky and full of himself. He's a player that has more notches on his bed post than most. He's also stubborn and jealous. And although he says he would never fall in love and have an ole' lady..... Trinity challenges all those feelings. Not always in a good way.
Trinity - sweet with very low self esteem thanks to shit that happened to her in her teen years. The way she sees herself is sad. The way she feels worthy of anyones' love is even sadder. Her feelings for Wrath are fuzzy. She's strong. She respects the MC yet can't find respect for herself.
The two of them together = a MESS! Sitting here thinking of the shit they put each other through makes my heart ache all over again. And yet that is the stuff I love to read about in MC books. Watching Wrath struggle with the things that Trin went through personally and with the MC was heartbreaking and yet showed us that he does care and can be a loving, caring Alpha ;)
Their story is a roller coaster of emotions so I suggest you hold on tight. You are going to hate each of them and yet love them too. Can the two of them learn to forgive? Will they stop the collision course of a relationship they have and find their HEA together? Can they truly recover from everything they went through?
This is a long read and worth every minute! It's told in the beggining Past and Present giving you a recap of how they became what they are. Then leads us to the present.... We have glimpses of everyone from The Lost Kings MC and that was refreshing.
Autumn did an amazing job! Grab this series if you haven't read it. You won't be sorry. I look forward to seeing what she brings us next.
