Amy's 4.5 star ARC Review of Trust by Becca Lee

To be abandoned is one thing. To have your heart ripped out while you are left broken on the cold, tiled floor is another.

Jessie is no stranger to loss, but when trust is broken and leaves a gaping hole of uncertainty, she no longer knows where deception ends and the truth begins. Caught up in a web of lies, Jessie needs to find out who she can trust, and fast.

When she is faced with an uncertain future and discovers she may not be who she thinks she is, never before has trust been more important.

I don’t want you. The words had been thrown out there; they couldn’t be taken back especially when spewed by your husband. Heartbreak was nothing new but this … was it too much? Chris should have been more comforting, he should have wanted to be with her more. Shattered … that’s how Jessie felt; broken beyond repair. Trust was a valuable thing .. and it had been destroyed.

Luca would protect her. He was one of her oldest friends. But maybe Jessie isn’t who she thought she was. Maybe she has been kidding herself. Lies are all around her. Who can she trust? Anyone? Having yourself torn to pieces as much as this in that short span of time would throw anyone into a tailspin.

Trust is an emotionally charged story with a gamut of anything you desire to find on the pages. There is so much to be learned through this story. Take a piece of it and hold onto it. Whichever part stirs your deepest emotions make sure you put it in a safe place. Keep yourself open and feel the heartbreak and joy through these fantastically written characters. Jessie and Luca are ones to remember.

Becca Lee is a new author to me and she has done a brilliant job of reeling me in as a fan. What a journey; a beautiful gut wrenching journey. Click this one up friends. It’s a keeper.

I was provided an ARC for an honest review. Review to post to Ramblings From Beneath The Sheets.
