Amy's 3.5 star ARC review of Jester (No Prisoners MC #2) by Lilly Atlas

Thrust into a world of danger and fear, first grade teacher, Emily, is forced to comply with a terrifying MC president’s demands in order to save her brother’s life. Her only port in the storm is Jester, a member of a rival MC she’s supposed to use and betray. Jester proves to be the opposite of everything Emily expects, and before long she’s in his bed, and he’s in her heart.

Jester would give life and limb for the No Prisoners Motorcycle Club. His sole focus needs to be on the impending attack against their enemies, the Grimm Brothers. Meeting sweet and innocent Emily wasn’t part of his plan, and falling for her is out of the question.

Can Emily save her brother’s life without destroying the man who opens her eyes and heart to an amazing world of pleasure? She’ll do anything in her power to help her brother while protecting Jester, but when Jester finds out she was sent by his enemy, she may lose everything she’s trying to preserve.

3.5 stars

Jester is the second book in a series from Lilly. I have not read the first book but I intend on going back and doing that because I do believe these characters have potential.

Emily is a teacher leading a normal life with the exception of trying to keep her brother out of trouble. Getting himself into deep trouble again with drugs she is forced into spying on the No Prisoners MC. Snake the President of the Grimm Brothers will take her as payment if she doesn't come through along with killing her brother.

Jester has no idea who the clean cut girl is that walked into the club. She doesn't belong here and he should get her out of the clubhouse before she gets something she didn't come for. Not listening to the right parts of his body he wants to know what this girl is about.

You can imagine the events from this point on. I felt like the same thing was written over and over. I did like the two characters but I needed more intense interaction between them ... No not sexy time but more of Jester knowing she was up to something because he did.

I do really think I will like this series so I intend on continuing to read. Heading back to click the first one up now. Thank you for the ARC. Review to post to Ramblings From Beneath The Sheets.
