My Review -
All in all this was a decent read. I rate this 3-3.5 stars.
We meet Jake and Sophia in this one. Jake is ex military - turned biker- even after years of saying he wouldn't join the club. Sophia is the best friends sister that was always younger and off limits. Their meeting back up is awkward and little Sophia has kept a secret all these years. There isn't much about the actual MC until towards the end. Maybe that was just a way of giving the back story of the characters and the town. Speaking of town - There is drama in their town that is still left unanswered or attended to towards the end of the book. The author had tiny plot twists that had me saying "ahhhh". The relationship between Jake and Sophia was not really complete....we are left with a cliffhanger. There were secrets kept and once they are exposed....Justice is what the characters are looking for. The sex is good though! =) I think with the cliffhanger we are left with, we are looking at a great MC series in the future. I think this one just fell a tad flat to me when it came to the actual MC side but again, that could have been what the author wanted. The author could have just been setting us up with all the back history and such that will lead us into the next book where the cliffy left us hanging. Would I recommend this to friends.... yes!
